Our stay at Alessandro’s place was lovely. It was exactly as described online and he was super friendly and helpful. He met us after we arrived as we were able to use the lock box to gain access to the property. He described activities that we could do during our stay and what was happening in and around the local area. The place was also quiet and clean. We would recommend this stay to others and would definitely return if we find ourselves in the area again.

Julie and Graham were fantastic hosts. They talked to us about surrounding restaurants/ shops to visit of need be. The steading was very clean and private with absolutely stunning surroundings. I 100% recommend Julie as a host and hope to be back soon.

Just back from a 3 night stay here. Lovely property and comes with a suana and hot tub, couldnt have asked for anymore. Such a relaxinf long weekend.

Extremely peaceful location perfect for enjoying the hot tub and just overlooking the field with the sheep. Plenty of space inside the cabin for everything and fully equip for any length of stay. Was a very wholesome place with the wood burning hot tub and field views, exactly what I was after for my weekend away!

We had the best new year in such a beautiful cabin, very peaceful with plenty of nature walks available☺️ Really close to the local town, would highly recommend

The Lodges are nestled in silver birch woodland. They are sensitively designed to blend in with the environment. Simon and Michelle are friendly and helpful hosts and sincerely want you you to have an enjoyable stay. One major bonus was the extensive network of woodland walks on-site.

Absolutely lovely place that we didn't want to leave! Very quaint location away from everything. We were surrounded by farm animals, was lovely seeing chickens, rooster and even a peacock running around! The cabin turned out to be more spacious than the photos made it look. It was clean and well stocked with necessities. The highlight was definitely seeing the Aurora on our first night there! Would recommend to anyone who wants a peaceful getaway, 6/5 stars!

What a fabulous location and accommodation - we couldn’t have asked for more. Thoughtfully and comfortably set up, all contributing to a very relaxing stay. The views from the cabin are wonderful and you could spend hours drinking in the scenery. Lots of great walks, cycles, swims within easy reach- we hope to visit again. Thanks to our hosts for offering such a great venue.

Lovely lodge in a beautiful setting. Very peaceful location. Lodge is spacious and very well equipped. Stephen was extremely helpful and flexible with our check in/out. He responded immediately and quickly sorted out a fault in the en-suite shower room. Highly recommend this lodge

The Boathouse is very cosy , clean and welcoming. It’s tucked away but within easy walking distance of the beach and local pubs. Wonderful deli/ coffee shop 5 mins walk away. This was our 1st visit to Findhorn and we loved it , definitely one to return to. Our dog was made to feel very welcome and had a great time on the beach. Lots to see and do round about.

A stay at the Queen’s Hut is a magical experience. Having your own secluded lochside setting, amongst a beautiful pine forest is very special. The interior of the hut has been thoughtfully decorated. The hut is a short walk into Aboyne that had a nice pub and good amenities. We loved every minute of our stay.

Our stay was very nice. The accommodation is very modern and the main rooms are very spacious. Good for small children and infants. It was a bit complicated finding the accommodation when entering the site as there are no signs posted for the cabin numbers and locations. However once we knew the lay of the land it was a lot easier. Would highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful cottage in a great location and so quiet and relaxing, the only noise coming from the abundance of wild life. It is also a good base for walks or just exploring the beautiful Deeside area with so much to see and do.

Lovely accommodation, suitable for weekend or longer stays. The kitchen is very well-equipped with everything you need if you are fully self-catering. Very quiet situation with lovely walks nearby. We have already rebooked! Highly recommended.

The Airbnb was so homely and relaxing and the beautiful surroundings just topped it off. It was easy to find and Paul was very informative prior to our arrival and responded quickly to any queries! Definitely recommend and would return!

From the moment we walked in we knew this was going to be a great stay. We booked an extra night no more than 10 minutes after walking in! It was in a private field surrounded by trees, trails, and farm land. Perfect and remote and we even saw some deer and pheasant outside the cabin. It was the perfect escape from busy city life, a farm shop and a Tesco superstore nearby which is great for the self catering. we will definitely be returning we had an absolutely wonderful time at Tillyfruskie Cabin.

What an amazing place. Tranquility at its finest Pree and Ben were brilliant. They give you privacy but will also be there to help with anything. Absolutely gorgeous place! Cant be more thankful for the weekend we just had. Gave us everything we needed. Thank you so much!

If you're looking for a remote, quiet and secluded place to stay, Larch Lodge is an excellent choice. Our group of 3 and a furry companion found the Lodge compact yet comfortable and meeting our needs. We found it spotless, well equipped, very warm, with a private parking space and with a great views from the kitchen. The Lodge is fully licensed, and adheres to required safety standards. Situated within a private forest, the Lodge is home to many birds, including a bird of prey we observed on several occasions. Many of the most beautiful Scottish beaches, towns, castles, and other attractions are within a 15-25 minute drive. There is also a nearby Tesco supermarket, which is notably better stocked than those in Edinburgh and includes a petrol station. Finally, thank you Vanessa for being such a great host and for a bottle of Champaign to help us celebrate birthday of one of us. We cannot forget to say that our furry companion has enjoyed outside space and his beach walks.

Great cabin in a great location, especially with the dog. Lots of walks on the doorstep which was very handy.

Alison's cabin was ideal for our stay. It had plenty of space for us and good facilities for self catering. The cabin is in the grounds of her large B&B house and Alison was on hand to welcome us and if we had any queries. There's a good bedroom and a comfortable sofa bed. It's very walkable to the pubs, restaurants, cafes etc in Ballater and Alison provided lots of tips and recommendations for eating out. Parking on site. Good communication with Alison. Would stay again.
