We had a wonderful time!! The view on the lake is beautiful. The house was very clean and had everything we needed.

We had a wonderful time at Le Refuge! The cottage was located on a peaceful small lake with beautiful views from the large windows, deck and hot tub, especially at sunrise and sunset. We truly enjoyed the peace and quiet and basked in the afternoon sun! The kitchen was well appointed and the bed super comfortable. The snowmobile trail is right on the access road and only a short distance from the nearest town to get gas. Thank you for a terrific get away!

Al and Claudine were friendly, approachable, and professional right from the moment we arrived. I would highly recommend Commanda Lake Resort to anyone looking to get away from it all.

Superbe séjour! Tout était parfait!

We visited at the end of winter (March) and we were happy to have the hot tub as we went to the sugar bush (La coulée) up the road and also did the snow tubing on a beautiful sunny day. We also visited le sentier d hébertisme de la Gatineau with 14 obstacle type courses in the forest which is incredible if you have kids. The end result is a beautiful teal coloured water fall. (Les chutes rouge). We saw more than 30 deer on the roads around us. So peaceful and beautiful. Overall we loved our stay. Make sure to bring keurig pods & dish soap otherwise we had everything we needed :) Andre was very quick to respond with any questions.

Beautiful place. Very convenient for our ice fishing weekend. Was awesome coming back to a hot tub. Very friendly people. Overall a great place to stay. Will book there again.

Brooke’s place was perfect for our wedding weekend! She was extremely responsive and helpful with any questions we had! Her place is big and private from neighbours! We would recommend Brooke’s place to anyone looking for a peaceful place to spend their holidays

We really enjoyed our stay at Vila Rosa! The property’s unique charm blended perfectly with the wintry setting, making our trip even more special. It was clean, well-equipped, and just as described. The host was very responsive and made everything easy from start to finish. We’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to others!

From my time conversing with Jocelyn around planing our trip I found her to be a very kind, responsive, and receptive host. As for our stay at The Athena Cabin. It was picturesque and wonderfully cozy for our group of 10. The rent was a little expensive for us, however no part of our experience felt cheap. The kitchen is well stocked. The house was spotless. The neighbours were friendly. The only problem my group had was our lack of preparation for the lack of potable drinking water (2024), which that was easily remedied by a trip to a near by grocery store mentioned by a provided list of important near by locations. Overall, I think the cabin is well worth the price for anyone who can fill it up and is looking for a classier getaway. Everyone in my group had a great time staying here and we would love to come again in the future. P.S - Something she doesn’t mention is how pretty the sunsets is on the lake. It was so beautiful we all went out to see.

Beau petit chalet tranquille sur le bord de l'eau. Nous avons bien aimé notre weekend entre filles. Nous étions 7 personnes + chien (4 adultes et 3 enfants). Nous avons bien profité du grand hot tub. Nous avons aussi profité du lac pour nous baigner et faire du pédalo. Nous avons aussi bien relaxé autour du feu en soirée. La galerie du haut était grande et avait une belle vue du lac. Ma fille et ma nièce m'ont dit qu'elles auraient voulu rester pour la semaine tellement qu'elles avaient du plaisir au chalet. Merci encore une fois!

The place is great. About 20-25 minutes from New Liskeard, which has everything you need, including great restaurant, 28 on the Lake. The view from the cottage/veranda is beautiful. Cottage has its own boat ramp, which worked well for us. The hot tub was amazing, we really used it a lot. The sauna also worked well. Cottage was clean and everything worked. And, finally, Katrin was extremely fast with her responses and her answers were always helpful.

We have been at Jesse's place for the second time and enjoyed our stay. The spa is great with an amazing view. Highly recommended.

Moment paisible passé en famille avec une superbe vue sur l'eau et les montagnes.

We wanted a place to stay that was relatively close to Antoine Mountain, and a place that was peaceful and private. We were so lucky to find Alan's place, 15 minutes from Antoine Mountain, and only a few minutes from Mattawa (which had any food and supplies that we needed). We stayed for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our experience in the cabin. Alan was very helpful from the time we checked in until we checked out - always respecting our privacy. The cabin had all we needed to be cozy and comfortable. The hot tub was a wonderful perk after skiing each day! We look forward to going back in the warmer months to be able to take advantage of how close the cabin is to various canoe routes and hiking trails. Thank you, Alan, for making it a great mini-vacation!
