Just minutes from Lake Murray, Saluda Shoals Park and River, shopping and restaurants, approximatly 15-20 minutes from down town Columbia, the Vista, U of SC & CIU campuses, Williams-Brice Stadium, and about 20-25 minutes from Fort Jackson.

Our simple, unique (octagonal) cottage is ready for you to enjoy as you take in the serenity of Lake Murray! Have a meal on the spacious deck, go swimming/fishing from the dock, or just relax and observe the many fish, turtles and birds that live in this quiet cove. Our boat is on one side of the dock, and you’re welcome to use the other side for yours. There is a public boat ramp less than a mile away. Siesta Cove is the next cove over and has a general store and gas pumps for your boat.

Restful Refuge is a renovated one-bedroom studio apartment that includes a full kitchen and full bath downstairs to our home. For your stay with us you will have a private entrance. We are located just minutes from Downtown Columbia but secluded in a small community on a pond. Our desire is to provide a place to help you unwind & rejuvenate during your time in Columbia. You'll enjoy this small cabin located less than 2 miles from Dreher Island State Recreation Area. The views from the living area and kitchen are breath-taking. You can sit on the dock & watch the sun set or take your boat out just a few hundred yards to watch the sun rise. This location is great for swimming & a dock is available so you can bring your boat. There is also great fishing from the dock and on a boat. This will provide an unforgettable vacation!

Unique Lake Murray Cabin With a Gorgeous View

Unique rustic cabin on a quiet cove of Lake Murray, a 500,000 acre lake in central South Carolina, perfect for fishing and all water sports. The cabin will sleep 4 adults or 2 adults and 3-4 children. The top loft bunk might be a bit claustrophobic for an adult. The doorways upstairs are low clearance, can be a head bumping hazard for anyone over 5'10 or so. Bed linens, bath and kitchen towels are provided. Lexington County License #2500880
