****ACCESS TO THE CAMP IS BY BOAT ONLY, we do offer a PARTY BARGE Taxi that can be used. The boat ride from one side of the canal to the other, no more than a 20-30 second ride across the canal.***** This Modern getaway is located In Manchac, LA and is very close to some very popular spots local spots. The main one is the Famous Sun Buns Bar and Grill that is located right next door. You can literally walk out the camps front door and walk there since the dock is attached to Sun Buns.

Tickfaw River Retreat - Waterfront Property

Escape to Camp Tickfaw, a peaceful river-front getaway. This 3-bedroom, 2-bath home sits directly on the Tickfaw River with stunning water views through wide open windows and French doors leading out to a very spacious deck - beautiful scenery - perfect for relaxing and enjoying the river and quiet peaceful surroundings. The interior of the house is very bright and cheery, while being cozy and comfortable. Very spacious kitchen, living and dining area - great for family gatherings.

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. Close to highway, the university, and 40 minutes to either New Orleans or Baton Rouge airports. Great weekend river getaway!

Relax and unwind with the whole family at this peaceful camp located on the Tangipahoa River. Enjoy fishing off the dock (some poles and tackle are available) or the view from the top deck. Unfortunately, we do not allow swimming off the dock. Bring your boat and launch at Lee’s Landing (few minutes away) to take your fishing adventure from the dock to the banks! We also have two Roku TVs with 50+ channels and ability to log in to any of your streaming services.

Waterfront Home

Come relax and take in the sites at this waterfront house on the bayou! You’re welcome to bring a pole and fish off the dock or hop in a kayak and explore the swamp. The outside deck is equipped for boat/jet ski docking, and the canal leads to the Tickfaw River. There is plenty of room inside and out to spend quality time with friends and family. It is 10 minutes to local dining and 45 minutes to Baton Rouge and/or New Orleans. There are 4 kayaks available!

The Yellow Cottage on the River (w/ Dock Access!)

Our quaint yellow cottage sits on a quiet street where you have plenty of space to hear the cicadas and breathe in the Louisiana air. We're situated directly on the Amite River and this cottage is perfect for anyone who loves to fish! We provide a place to dock your boat, and can even recommend the best routes along the river that we often take ourselves. Please note that we do not allow pets at the cottage so get your fur babies a sitter and come on down.

Tucked into Downtown Hammond, this inviting 2-bedroom guest house offers a private, whole-home stay just a short walk from local coffee shops, classic diners, and unique boutiques. You’ll love my place because of the outdoors space and the quiet, peaceful neighborhood. The outdoor space is great for a variety of activities such as barbecuing, campfires, and crawfish boils. The house has boat access to a waterway that leads to the tchefuncte river, which is great for watersports. My place is good for couples and families (with kids).
