Bill's awesome. My family spent Thanksgiving at his place and I reached out ahead of time to find out if there's a mixer for our whipped cream. I would've brought mine from home, but within 2 minutes, he had ordered one to be delivered prior to our arrival! He responded to my questions within minutes. Adorable kitchen worked well for our TG prep. Dining room is in a cozy window-laden spot that was perfect for doing puzzles. Bedrooms have really comfy beds and linens. Bathroom is small, but has everything you need - plenty of fresh thick towels and the water pressure is impressive. Ping-pong table = fun. Backyard was perfect for our dog when we didn't have the time to spend in Court Square Park, conveniently located right down the road. There are two off-street well-lit parking spaces. And the location is fun - eat, drink and shop; catch a movie; just walk around and stumble upon a street performer. All good. UVA is a short walk down Main Street, cideries and wineries a short drive. Go!

Would happily stay at Locust Grove Retreat if I needed to stay in the area again.

This is a great place, very cute, all new and clean. Beds were comfortable. House is nicely appointed. It is very convenient to town though close to some areas that were questionable so wasn't sure about walking around there at night. We had our family stay there for our daughter's wedding and it worked out great. We felt safe at the house and there was ample parking. Seemed like there was gentrification in the neighborhood with newer construction. Natalie and Joe were accommodating and responsive to all our questions. I highly recommend their place.

Patricia was very communicative and her cottage was beautiful and extremely well maintained. She even greeted us with her home baked cookies and farm raised eggs. It’s the perfect getaway from urban life and our yellow Labrador had the time of his life. We most definitely look forward to returning whenever we get a chance!

We had a great time at this spot! Walkable to a nice brewery and a lot of wineries. Host was very responsive and the house had everything we needed.

The Wooder House never disappoints! This is the only Airbnb we’ve stayed at more than once and we will continue to come back. It’s in the heart of the Nelson 151 but still completely isolated and peaceful. The home is stocked with amenities for kids and dogs! We introduced some family to the Wooder House this time and it was great having a pack-n-play, along with two high chairs on site for the kiddos! Such attention to detail is what makes traveling less hectic. We can’t say enough good things about the hosts and their beautiful wooded retreat! Thank you for letting us enjoy your special place!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Red Cabin! The grounds were so lovely, full of unexpected blooms and garden treasures at every turn. We enjoyed exploring, taking in the views and sitting on the peaceful porch each morning and evening. The cabin was full of eclectic furnishings, art and the reading room offered a variety of interesting reads. The kitchen was fully stocked with just what we needed to enjoy our stay. Our dog was even happier that we were! We highly recommend booking a stay here.

Feels like home, well decorated that makes the stay cozy and comfortable. The kitchen has quartz countertop stacked with kitchenware to prepare a healthy home meal. They have everything I would need in my stay from a multi-device charging station, very fast internet, etc.

Tracy's carriage house is on a beautiful farm on top of a hill overlooking the mountains. We were close to everything we needed. It's beautifully decorated. I can't say enough but it felt like staying at a fine resort with pool, pool house, pickleball court, and areas for dogs to run. We would definitely stay here again if we are back in the area

Susan’s farm house was perfect for enjoying a relaxing getaway with plenty of space for multiple families and kids. All of the spices are very large and honestly it’s better in person than in the pictures. We would recommend it to anyone and return again! The kitchen was nicely stocked with everything you could need. And it was great being right on the winery.

This historic cottage was set on a beautiful piece of property. We really enjoyed the setting and house. It had a well outfitted kitchen, lots of towels, and little details like snacks and products in the bathrooms. It was very clean. I enjoyed talking with the owner and their animals were very special.

Our stay at Bloomingdale was wonderful! You could feel the history of the house. It was well appointed with a beautiful kitchen looking over the fields and an open living and dining room. There was also a large den and another parlor on the main level for get away spaces. Upstairs beds were comfortable and bathrooms were plentiful. We had a great stay and didn’t want to leave! Highly recommend.

We stayed at Diana’s place while visiting with our daughter for our annual apple picking trip. Her place was a bit far out away from things, which we expected. It was cozy and had everything we needed for the weekend. I would highly recommend this cozy cottage when you want to get away!

Very beautiful farm! Just what I was looking for to get the kids unplugged for a little while while they were on spring break. William was very clear with his instructions I screenshotted all directions so we didn't struggle getting there once we lost signal. he was also very gracious with letting us have a late check out! Great host, and beautiful cabin! We'll be looking forward to visiting again!

This was a perfect place for a peaceful getaway. The fireplace was a treat, and we had a very cozy stay. It's hard to add to what other reviewers have already said, but here is one detail: on a winter's night, when the moon is down and the sky is clear, the stars are fantastic! Because there is no nearby light pollution, the view from the deck of the night sky is deep and brilliant.

Jonathan and Sibylle were great hosts! They were so attentive to anything we may need. They have a beautiful property making for a perfect weekend getaway! The space was very well kept. Everything was so appreciated!

We had a great time staying here. The house is in a great location- a minute or less from downtown Crozet restaurants and shops and very close to many nearby attractions- less than 5 minutes from Pro Re Nata Brewery and less than 10 minutes to Septenary and King Family wineries. The beds were very comfortable and the two full bathrooms were great upstairs. The house was well stocked with spices and a full kitchen. We had a question about turning the heat on and the host responded almost immediately via the app- communication was great!

Perfect place to stay for a weekend away and a wedding venue close by!

What a wonderful place to stay for a short getaway. Conveniently located to several wineries. The furniture was comfortable, and the beds were extremely comfortable. My fiancé and I liked the pillows so much that we messaged them and asked where they got them from because we plan on purchasing some. The host went out of their way to make us feel at home. So much so that they left homemade banana bread on the counter with some fruit water and a few other items. Even the refrigerator was stocked with beers for you to try, some non-alcoholic. There were plenty of linens for everyone and the bathroom was clean as well . I would stay here any day over booking a hotel room!
