Our backyard offers a peaceful retreat in the heart of Wodonga. The bungalow is cosy with its own bathroom and private courtyard where you can either hide from the world or use it as a base to explore the region. The enclosed backyard is safe for pets and small children. Please note that our place is popular with pet owners, and although I clean thoroughly, some guests have complained about a general smell of dogs. If you are sensitive to this, you may want to consider booking elsewhere.

Central, cosy and private Wyse Cottage

Wyse Cottage was built at the turn of the 20th century and has the charm of that era combined with the comforts we expect today. The cottage is centrally located which means there will be traffic noise. It’s an easy 550 metre walk to the Botanic Gardens and many popular cafes for breakfast or lunch. You also have a great choice of restaurants in the CBD and if you travel for half an hour or so, you will find excellent cafes, wineries and restaurants in Rutherglen, Wahgunyah & Beechworth.

A 5 minute walk to Dean Street where you'll find a diverse range of restaurants, cafes and bars. Ideally situated within 500 metres of the beautiful Botanic Gardens. When you arrive at RusticPark Retreat you will find a cosy cottage to enjoy during your stay. Set on 16 acres the views are amazing with plenty of nature and wildlife to see. The cottage is fully self contained from the main house .You will have your own private BBQ and sitting area to enjoy during your stay. We are only a short drive to Beechworth and Yackandandah . Ideally located to visit all the historic surrounding areas.

Wark Cottage (circa 1895) named after the original owner William Frederick Wark, has been meticulously restored to modern day standards while retaining its worker cottage roots. Original features throughout complete with pressed tin finishes, hardwood floors and working fireplace. Wark Cottage draws you back in time and creates a tranquil and relaxing place to locate yourself while visiting Chiltern and surrounds.

The unit has a private entry, with sensor lighting for night entry. Located close to supermarkets, shopping areas and only 15 minutes from Albury, 38klms from Beechworth and 1 hour from Mount Beauty. Very quiet area.

Within walking distance to Albury CBD and is surrounded by wonderful shops & cafes in the South Albury precinct. Mister Browns 2 bedroom cottage next door is also available, and is more suitable for families.
