This peaceful hilltop spot in a restored historic villa boasts a light-filled mezzanine bedroom, exposed ceiling beams, and deep skylights for an airy ambiance. Keeping the original architectural layout of the facade, the interior of Duque's Villa was carefully refurbished to maintain the original wooden floors and window coverings, the high ceilings and the impressive staircase, as well as some furniture elements that tell us little secrets about the past. All suites are designed to enjoy a privileged view of the Tagus River and the spacious garden that surrounds the property. With a comfortable seating area, a kitchenette and a private bathroom, each of the suites features an unique and exclusive interior design, which includes typical details but with a modern Portuguese touch. The result is an elegant, distinctive and certainly royal atmosphere that will make you feel like a Duke. All guests have acces to the property's garden, parking, 1st floor balcony and reception area. Usually you will find someone at our reception on working hours, but besides that we are always available for an emergency. If you need help contact us to our mobile number, we never turn it off. This is a residential area very close to the city center, but removed just enough to guarantee a tranquil, village-like feel. This eastern, industrial part of the city sits between Lisbon’s historic heart and Nations Park, constructed for Expo '98. Within a short walk, you can reach the Nacional Tile Museum or the Fado Museum, and typical quarters like Alfama or Graça. You can also opt for the beautiful bicycle path along the river or public transports which are also nearby. This area is getting one of the trendiest places in town (you will not find many tourists here... yet!), and there are a number of different shops, cafes, bars, and restaurants nearby that are worth knowing - we would be happy to make recommendations and can help you book an appointment or reservation on your behalf. El piso Chiado 4 está ubicado en la Travessa Joao de Deus, 10, planta baja, en la zona del Chiado, corazón de Lisboa y barrio más turístico, lujoso, activo y vibrante de la ciudad. La ubicación es imbatible y a un tiro de piedra de todo: en minutos se puede llegar andando a cantidad de restaurantes, casas de fado, tiendas de lujo, teatros, mercerías de barrio, a los bares más de moda o a supermercados y a las cafeterías de toda la vida. Desde el apartamento resulta tan fácil como cómodo conocer toda Lisboa: muchas atracciones están nada más salir la puerta y todos los transportes publicos están a algunas docenas de metros: la estación de metro de Baixa/Chiado, la parada del famoso tranvía 28 y la estación de tren para Sintra están todos a la distancia de 3 a 5 minutos a pie.
