We stayed over bank hol weekend. Anton and Penny were great hosts, food at the pub was lovely, anything we needed such as cutlery, cups, towels just had to pop round to the pub to ask. We loved our stay.

Absolutely amazing place to stay! The view through the window was stunning, especially sunrise. It was breaking... The location is perfect if you are looking for a calm and peaceful place to come back after the busy day out and about. The caravan was very clean and had everything we needed (the milk in the fridge was a very nice treat for us, thank you). We had a great time there. Highly recommend.

What an amazing find and in a fantastic location too. We stayed in Birch and it was just beautiful. All the fixtures and fittings were perfect for the type of accommodation it is and made it a really different kind of staycation. The hut was so warm and cosy and even had under floor heating! We also had use of the BBQ Hut on the grounds, which you can use to cook, or just have a fire on while you enjoy the games and music available in there. I took so many pictures and videos of the site which I have shared with friends who now want to book too. Liz and Neil were fabulous hosts - thank you again ❤️

had a lovely chilled weekend with my partner, the cabin was beautiful, cosy and clean, it was lovely to see the deer from our cabin. The bathroom just a very short walk away from the cabin was very clean, shower was hot and powerful 👌 we took advantage of the boat ride on their lake, that was fun. Ruth was very helpful, lovely host, lovely place ... will return 🥰

Hingabarn was amazing! So cozy, peaceful and relaxing. Our 4 nights went so quick, but we loved every minute of being there. We had an adventure everyday and couldn't wait to spend the afternoon/evening back at the barn. Thank you both Paul and Barbara, for being great hosts.

A great little cabin with lovely grounds to explore. The cabin was big enough for 2 adults, 2 infants and a dog. Although the weather was typical of October in Britain, my two toddlers loved getting their wellies and puddlesuits on and exploring the area. Portaloo, mini shop and showers located a few steps from the cabin and all worked well. Lots of water in large bottles available near the firewood. Network is spotty, but generally available when outside the cabin. Cabin was easily kept warm with a fire, firewood and fire lighters were available for purchase at the place. Parents with small children need to keep a very close eye as there are many ponds and a stream that runsa through the property, but the beauty of the area is well worth the extra vigilance. Overall very happy with the stay, will consider again in the future. Thanks!

A little gem near the to motorway for those looking for a home away from home en route or the perfect little getaway for those wanting to stay longer. The cozy place has everything you need 😀

It was perfect just what we needed after finishing university. It was so nice to get away and enjoy the peace and quiet. It was easy to find, easy to check in and you were sort of left to your own devices which was really nice. There’s alpacas and goats opposite your lodge which we enjoyed petting every morning and also we brought our little dog with us which she very much enjoyed ! Would definitely go again :) thank you for having us !!

We had a lovely weekend away here. It was extremely peaceful with a great view of the cows and babies in the field. The hut had everything we needed and the fresh milk and biscuits were a lovely touch! We'd definitely stay again, thank you Claire.

Had a lovely Easter break, the accommodation was amazing and spotless. The effort that has gone into these pods are second to none, spotless and clean. Everything you would ever need was provided. The bottle of Prosecco was a lovely touch. Such beautiful surroundings and the hot tub is perfect for 2 people to unwind and spend quality time together. I can’t wait to come back. Just 20 minutes from Windermere so perfect for a lovely day out.

Absolutely loved our stay. Beautifully kept property in a beautiful peaceful location. Windermere and Bowness a short, easy drive away with plenty of great restaurants.

Perfect place if you want some peace and quiet while being surrounded by nature. The hut is very cosy and the surroundings just breath taking. I only saw Nicola for brief moment, but she was very welcoming and kind.

Best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in! The photos do not do this place justice, the little touches make it so homely. Would 1000% recommend this place and we will definitely be coming back! ❤️

Stayed in the shepherds hut. Hosts are very responsive if you have any questions. Very comfortable with all the amenities that you need. Fabulous views in the most peaceful surroundings with plenty of country walks close by. If you are looking for peace and quiet and a place to recharge. This is it! We have visited the site twice now. We will definitely be back ❤️

Lovely shepherds hut tucked away down the lane, with a great view looking at the mountains and fields around. It was a really relaxing atmosphere and you are never too far away from good walks or restaurants. The hut was comfortable and easy to use kitchen and bathroom facilities. We would definitely stay again!

Such a lovely little cabin to stay in, we absolutely loved it. Area was beautiful, and such a calm atmosphere. 100% recommend!!

Another wonderful stay at Red Stables. The views from the lounge and hot tub are to die for, you're absolutely in the middle of the countryside and it's so quiet and peaceful. Head to the tub to completely wind down or stay connected via the high speed WiFi if you must! You can stream movies or your favourites on the internet connected Tv. Plus there's a great Farm Shop and Cafe five minutes away in the car. Highly recommended.

Excellent weekend break. Beautiful scenery and very peaceful, if you're looking for a quiet get away this is perfect. Loved relaxing in the hot tub and looking out onto the beautiful surroundings. 15 mins walk into the town with plenty of places to eat and take aways. Beautiful riverside walk. Would recommend 👌 x
