The cabin sleeps 6 comfortably, and was built by homesteader Carl Cassidy in the early 1980's. His skillful primitive aesthetic and use of recycled materials gives the cabin a feeling it was built in the 1880's.

Historic 2 Bedroom home is within walking distance to Museums, Historic Montana State Prison Ghost Tours, Mount Powell Taphouse, Grant Kohrs Ranch, Grocery Shopping and Downtown. It is an easy drive to Philipsburg and Butte. This is also a great stopping point between Yellowstone National Park and Glacier National Park. Not to mention the numerous outdoor activities nearby. Other changes: living room sofa no longer a bed, 2 twin beds in loft, Solo fire pit, removed play set. Open plan, no door on bedroom. Located in a quiet neighborhood yet within a half-mile of shopping, and one block away from a park and trails along Blacktail Creek. Looking forward to your stay!
