This beautiful cabin is tucked in on a wooded hillside, very private, cozy and comfortable with beautiful scenery all around. It is the perfect place for a romantic get away or to kick back and unwind with a couple friends, away from city noise. The cabin is located close to Amish county…there are lots of shops and restaurants within a short drive, with a spacious 7 person hot tub available for guests year round, as well as an outdoor and indoor fireplace for when weather is wintery.

This rustic 2-bedroom cabin is conveniently located on large private pond just outside the city limits of Mt. Vernon with shopping, dining, brewery and entertainment. We are pet friendly, dogs only ($50 per stay, max 2 dogs) with all the modern convenience, fully stocked kitchen, 50" flat screen smart TV, washer/dryer and fast internet. Outdoor fireplace/grill is the perfect hangout just steps from deck overlooking the large pond. 4-person paddle boat is there for use during your stay.

Located in a historic district of Mount Vernon, the Carriage House has been renovated to infuse modern conveniences with historic charm. Just blocks from downtown, the Carriage House is 2 miles from Mt Vernon Nazarene University and 5.5 miles from Kenyon College. The outdoors offers other relaxing options like soaking in the hot tub, putting on the putting green, sitting under the pergola with the gas fire pit, swinging on the front porch, or grilling on the patio. Or you can head indoors and relax on the massage chair, play a game, or watch something on one of the 4 TV's, or simply take a nap.

The whole group will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located place. The cottage on Wiggin is one block from all restaurants, bars and a coffee shop. This location is close to everything and anything you would like to see at the Kenyon College campus.
