I'm so happy I found this place and met Rusanna and Ruben. They are the nicest couple, very kind and welcoming. The place felt like home, tasteful artistic homelike interiors and beautiful garden outside, it feel so nice to be there and wake up to the quiet of the nature. The location is truly unbeatable, with 5 minute walk to the Garni Temple and stunning views (which can be also enjoyed form the garden). Delicious meals available at the stay and restaurants with fantastic kitchen also within 3-minute reach. I couldn't wish for anything else, this location is a gem for anyone that wants to feel Armenia through their heart.

The most wonderful place and the kindest of hosts. The house is full of character, peaceful, with a beautiful garden where walnuts, peaches and pears grow. The host family living in the big house next door do honour to Armenia’s legendary hospitality. We were treated as friends and we will keep the warmest memories of our stay.

This place is an absolute gem, and we felt so lucky to have found it! Beauty awaits both inside and out, with breathtaking views and a truly unique location – the Garni temple is literally just beyond the fence, yet the house and garden feel completely private. The guesthouse offers several unique rooms, each thoughtfully decorated with handmade pieces and artworks. The peaceful garden hints at incredible beauty during the blossom season. But the true heart of this guesthouse lies with its owners, the artists Ruzan and Ruben. Their warm personal welcome made us feel like cherished guests, and their invitation to explore their art gallery and studios was a delightful touch. They were so genuinely kind and polite. Oh, and the breakfast was outstanding – that omelette and Armenian coffee were the best I've had in ages! While we wish we could have visited in warmer weather, our experience was remarkable even with the rain. Thank you for sharing your home; I truly hope to return!

3GS B&B is the best place we’ve stayed in Armenia! European standards of comfort and Armenian hospitality. The rooms look brand new, quality materials, nice design and comfortable size of rooms and common area. You even get a bathrobe!) that’s a 5 star hotel standard :-) Fully equipped kitchens, local grocery shops in walking distance. Great breakfast with delicious local and homemade supplies - and amazing view of the mountains! Big garden where we enjoyed eating sweet cherries and the best apricots ever tasted, right from the tree. The pool is a big hit of course - especially for the kids, but adults as well ;-) Sandra and Marti are very nice, fun and helpful hosts - it’s amazing how they run the place - haven’t ever seen them sitting down or relaxing (well except maybe for one dinner we had together with other tenants) - always busy working on the property💪🏻 The area around the place is the best for doing hikes (from shorter ones up to all day long), it’s near 2 big Armenian sightseeing spots - Garni temple and Geghard monastery. Both are well worth the visit!

Eigentlich nimmt Perchuhi gar keine Gäste mehr auf. Da sie aber vergessen hat sich bei Airbnb abzumelden, hat sie für mich eine Ausnahme gemacht, da ich schon eine Buchungsbestätigung erhalten hatte und auch schon bezahlt hatte. Sie selbst wohnt gar nicht mehr in Areni. So hat mich auch ihre Schwester mit Kindern und der Rest der Familie betreut. Die Familie hat sich so liebevoll um mich gekümmert, wie ich es kaum erlebt hatte. Es war wie ein Besuch bei Freunden. Mit Luzi konnte ich mich auch ganz passabel auf englisch unterhalten. Vielen Dank für die vielen Antworten auf meine Fragen. Die Mutter hat immer super leckeres Essen gekocht. Die Kinder haben sich auch schnell an mich gewöhnt und letztendlich hat Amalia vieles Interessante aus der Sowjetzeit zu berichten gehabt. Ich hoffe, der Vater verzeit mir, dass ich bei dem heißen Wetter am letzten Abend noch ein Barbecue bestellt habe. Ich kam als Fremder und gehe als Freund. Areni ist das bedeutenste Weinzentrum Armeniens und eine gute Ausgangslage für dem Besuch von Norawank
