Situated in East Cowes. The house was part of the Osborne estate so we are situated right next to Osborne House, also a 2 minute drive or 20 minute walk from East Cowes Red Funnel. We are also on a main bus route to Newport or Ryde. There is private access & your own parking space.

A light and airy wooden chalet accessed by a path through a fully fenced orchard with seating and a fire pit ideal for catching the last of the evening sun. Dogs are welcome and can be walked within the 8 acres of farmland which extends to the Eastern River Yar and includes a wildlife pond. Queensbower Cottage stable is newly converted with 2 ensuite bedrooms, one double and one twin. A double sofa bed is also available for use in the lounge with a downstairs shower room and toilet. A cot bed is also available on request. We are situated in an area of outstanding beauty, alongside a bridle path with no passing traffic. Well behaved dogs are welcome in the downstairs of the stable. Our garden is large, child-friendly and surrounded by fields.

Relax and enjoy your stay at this unique and tranquil getaway. 'Adventure Prospect' has recently been completely renovated and is steeped in military history. Formerly known as the "shifting house" it was first built in 1898-1899 to accommodate munitions workers changing into the special clothing that they wore when working on magazines.
