Our friend squad (3 couples) loved our stay at this adorable home! Sarah was easy to communicate with and super responsive! The house had everything we needed and was VERY clean on arrival. Having bathroom and kitchen "necessities" provided was a nice bonus. This house is located directly on the Nelson 151 Trail so it is super convenient to wineries, breweries and restaurants. Our weather was not cooperative so we didn't get to enjoy the lovely firepit out back with the nice views. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others!

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Alison’s house and really enjoyed our time here. Beds are comfy, house is spotless, kitchen was very well stocked with cooking supplies and dishes and pantry essentials. I enjoyed sitting on both the front and back porch and reading, listening to the wind chimes and watching the cows munch grass. Alison has selected beautiful art, dried flower wreaths, antique furniture and cozy rugs etc to fill the house and it all feels special and not generic like so many Airbnb’s can feel. You can tell this is a beloved family home. Alison was very responsive and tried to help me troubleshoot issues with the wifi which was so appreciated. We ended up enjoying our time “off the grid”. Thanks Alison, hope to return someday!!

We had a great stay! It was exactly as described, everything we needed was there and the surroundings were beautiful. We walked over to the brewery one night and it was a quick drive to some gorgeous vineyards and not too far to town. The best of both worlds.

Sallys place reminds me of how Airbnb used to be.. renting a place for a night or two without spending a fortune. Easy check in/out plus a comfortable stay. What more could you ask for? Thanks again!

Stayed at Pete & Kyle’s as a halfway point for our drive south to Tennessee, both on the way down and then again on the way back north. It was as advertised and exactly what our family needed as a quick layover before we got back on the road. Place was extremely clean, located in a beautiful area, and a part of a wonderful house. I don’t think we could have asked for anything more.

The carriage house had beautiful views of the mountains. This loft served as a perfect anniversary getaway.

From the first glimpse of the rolling farm hills and quietly grazing cows we knew we had a good place to get away from our ordinary lives. Brendan met us when we arrived at the quaint location: rambling farm home and adjacent out-buildings close to a lovely stream with weeping willows, wild flowers. Brendan helped us with our luggage and showed us around so we could get the most from our stay. We took walks along the farm roads and enjoyed our time in and out of the house. The outdoor shower was fun and I loved the deep claw foot tub.

Had a great stay, circumstances of the trip definitely made us more quiet and reserved. would love to stay again on our next trip to va.

The cabin was really nice with comfortable accommodations and everything you need. There is a road that runs in front of and behind the cabin that has quite a bit of traffic on the weekend as the road is an entrance to a park/campground and it was a holiday weekend. This was a benefit to us though as we love to hike and could walk to or drive within a couple of minutes to several really great trails! Having the heated in ground pool for my daughter was amazing and when we had some issues with Bees the owners handled it right away. This is definitely a cabin in the woods by the water so come prepared with bug repellant. We did venture out to some local wineries and a lavender farm/winery but would have been just as content to enjoy the cabin and the property! Overall we really enjoyed this place and would totally go back when we are visiting the Harrisonburg area.

Wonderful stay in a well appointed and cozy but not small Airbnb. Pleasant decor and furnishings. They really thought of EVERYTHING to include down to flashlights and travel coffee mugs (and more). Their guidebook was super helpful and Carolyn even helped me understand if grocery stores would be open on Easter Sunday, our arrival date. The king mattress was super comfortable. Great location, nearby so many attractions. We would happily stay there again.

A very nice place, cozy and very clean. Even though it rained and we couldn't enjoy the hot tub, it didn't stop us from enjoying it. It has everything you need.

Kathryn was a wonderful host and made our stay very comfortable. We had a great time and truly appreciated the thoughtful hospitality. She was kind enough to allow an early check-in, which was a big help for our schedule. The detailed guide provided was super handy and made settling in easy. Our kids had a wonderful time, especially with the toys available. When we noticed a missing battery in the remote, Kathryn responded immediately and resolved it right away. We did have a hiccup with the AC not working one evening, but she was incredibly apologetic, communicated openly, and even issued a partial refund without us asking. We really appreciated the honesty and care. The house was well-equipped with everything we could need, from toiletries and kitchen utensils to camping chairs and kids’ toys. The attention to detail made our stay comfortable and hassle-free. Overall, a very communicative and easy-to-work-with host. We’d happily stay again.

Great place to stay. Amazing views from the house which is situated on a hill overlooking a valley. It is beautiful. So fun to be out in the country, relaxing and peaceful. Everything you need is in the house. All 9 of us had our own space. The pool table was a lot of fun. Close to downtown Staunton which is a fun place to walk and eat. Totally would come back and we would recommend this place to everyone.

This home was an ideal meeting place for a girls trip with us being from different parts of the state! The home exceeded our expectations, was very comfortable, and had plenty of beautiful outdoor space as well. It was close to things we wanted to do in Waynesboro, Charlottesville, and everywhere in between! Highly recommend!

Our stay on the hillside in Dayton was peaceful and scenic. The house was just the right size and easy to relax/cook/clean up in. We would revisit!

WOW! This cabin in the clouds was truly a peaceful place. The house and decor are immaculate, and the host truly thought of everything you might need. She was not kidding about the driveway being steep and wind-y but we all made it up with our sedans and enjoyed the mountain air and views for a perfect girls getaway. The house has so much character and such a nice experience.

Absolutely gorgeous farm property. Perfect for a tech free getaway. This was our favorite bnb of our entire roadtrip. Fantastic views of the stars. Loved waking up to ducks quacking outside our window and roosters letting you know they are there. The log cabin is very small and quaint but cozy. Ray and rosemary were extremely friendly. Would recommend this spot to everyone. Very little service in the area but we didnt even notice looking at everything going on at the beautiful property. Will be returning just for this canin!

This cabin in the mountains was an absolute dream. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how adorably decorated everything was: cozy, charming, and full of thoughtful touches that made it feel like a true retreat. The views were stunning, and the hot tub was the perfect way to relax after a day of exploring. Everything was spotless, the beds were super comfy, and the peaceful mountain setting was exactly what we needed to unwind.

The country oasis was a well taken care of home. Beautiful inside and out!

What a great place to spend a few days! Linda and Todd's cottage is extremely easy to find and access, quiet, clean, and comfortable, and you couldn't ask for a nicer location. The scenery is beautiful and the area is peaceful and quiet, but you're within a short drive of many great things to do and places to go. My wife and kids and I were so happy there, and Linda and Todd were great hosts. They were very helpful and responsive on the rare occasions we had questions, and they made sure we had everything we needed. All in all, it was a wonderful experience.

The house was perfect. Clean, tidy, and modern. We enjoyed the front porch and outdoor spaces and the whole family had fun in the arcade. Clise to mountain biking and hiking.

We booked this gorgeous place for a girl’s weekend, and it proved to be a most peaceful retreat. The expansive view, the high ceilings, the sunny deck, and the starry hot tub were some of our favorite elements. I especially appreciated the generosity of the hosts to offer a comprehensive guide book to the area and complimentary drinks and snacks for the house. I’d absolutely come back!
