This is the second time I've stayed at Currawongs Rest, and Jo was a wonderful host. Such a beautiful little stay, a bush/salt water retreat not far from the city. All the tiny details are thought of, from bath salts for the lush outdoor bath, to local suggestions of dining and wine-ing! Magical!

John's place is a beautiful small home in front of winery .. peaceful and place i will go back to when in the area. Would definitely go back for our family gateaway...the house is clean and tidy with a warm touch. Also not to forget to meantion we had a bottle of local nice red wine..! Thanks John. .. what a great host.

Always a gorgeous relaxing and comfortable stay. This is our second time. Everything is thoughtfully provided to make it a great experience.

We had a great time at the little house. Place was cosy and clean and the homemade bread and jam for brekkie was a lovely addition. We had a lovely time watching the birds coming to the garden. It was a fun walk to the river from the property too!

Beautiful place with bush views. Seems very remote although it’s only a few minutes from Lorne by car. Host was extremely helpful and responsive and did everything she could to make us feel welcome.

Sanibonani cottage was awesome! We used it as our base to explore the northwest, and Despina was a fantastic host, always keeping us in the loop. The cottage had everything, was spotless, and the Smithton views were gorgeous.

We had a glorious stay at Natalie’s Eco Cabin. The farm on which the cabin is situated is nestled next to a babbling brook and luscious forest. We enjoyed switching off and made the most of our peaceful abode while also exploring nearby attractions. I loved listening to the birds in the morning and it was special to be visited by black cockatoos, rosellas and robins. If I ever have a stressful time at work back in Sydney, I will think of this place and hope to stay there again soon.

Trish’s place was just what we needed for our long weekend in Hobart. Clean and practical. Also Trish allowed us to check in early on a public holiday which we greatly appreciated. Would 100% stay again if I ever visit Hobart. Also a quick 5 minute drive or 25 minute walk into the city.

Such a beautiful and unique experience, surrounded by absolute peace and tranquillity. The Gypsy wagon has everything you need for a brief getaway. I highly recommend treating yourself to something so wonderfully different.

Wow! This place is amazing, Ryans rest is such a beautiful lil home away from home. Everything you need is right there! Jo is amazing, the property is huge, and it was so peaceful, the mooing of the cows on a morning as they moved from paddock to paddock down in the valley, to birds tweeting in the afternoon and nothing but crickets and frogs at night, with amazing stars! The heated wood fire tub was a massive for both us, expect it to get hot! But add extra water (if you dont discoloured water this might not be for you) none the less amazing! Make sure you take a trip to Lake Jaspin and amazing man made lake! It’s Huge, plenty to see and do even kayaking and water tubes! Highly recommend staying here with Jo she is amazing and responsive, the little house was clean, smelt great. Watch your head at night! But hey this is part of the adventure we laughed every time. Great stay we will be back 100% Thank you again Jo for an amazing little spot

Would give this place 6/5 stars if I could. Absolutely beautiful spot, they’ve done so well with it! The bed was literally like a dream - so cosy. The bath is stunning. Loved the whole place - didn’t want to leave! Would highly recommend!

My partner and myself stayed at The House on Soul Hill for our 6 year anniversary - and safe to say we absolutely fell in love with it! the property itself is beautiful with touches of curated local art and produce (our breakfast box was delightful!) as well as having a simply breathtaking view of the fields of Lobethal. The entire place felt inviting, calming and peaceful and we had everything we needed and more - some personal highlights being the record player (the Beatles were on repeat!) the selection of local organic teas, and the most comfortable bed. Luke and Aylwen were super responsive, friendly, and gave us some great recommendations for local restaurants and businesses - they even gave us free coffee vouchers to use at their local cafe Emma and Ivy (a must visit - the coffee is incredible) which was unbelievably kind of them 🥰 This is a must visit - we will definitely be returning and I strongly encourage everyone to experience a weekend at The House on Soul Hill 🫶🏻

Loved this place!! The decor was even more stunning in person, the outdoor shower was a beautiful touch, the bed was extremely cozy, the shower was nice and hot and the outdoor area was gorgeous! Highly recommend, would stay again

Cozy cabin was great for a couple. had everything we needed, including kitchen equipment, and just enough space. The bed was fantastic. Easy 5min or less walk to everything in town and right on the trails.

I had a wonderful stay at HideOut 2.0! The location was incredibly peaceful and isolated. One of my favourite parts of the stay was watching the horses graze nearby — such a serene and beautiful sight to wake up to. The surroundings were quiet, allowing for a truly restful experience. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring great nights of sleep, and the kitchenette was very useful for preparing simple meals during my stay. I was also really impressed by the excellent shower and bathroom facilities — clean, modern, and spacious. Overall, it was such a cozy stay. Being far from the other HideOuts made it feel even more private and special. I would absolutely recommend staying here if you're looking for a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature. Can't wait to come back!

Captains Cabin was in a beautiful location and my partner and I found the place very cozy! Would recommend for anyone to stay there!

Great surroundings with a beautiful view and cosy accommodation. The host was friendly and very helpful. The dirt road can be challenging for sedans and hatchbacks but definitely worth it if you're looking for a private, tranquil location with breathtaking views.

Very wonderful time spent last weekend. Quiet and lovely environment. We enjoyed and love the surrounding. The house is fulfilled with details.we feel like we had time in an airplane museum. Definitely will suggest our friends to visit in the future. Also we are very happy that we had early checking. Steve and Amanda answered everything quick .👍🏻

D’s place was lovely - cute little home in their yard that’s private and aesthetic. It was very clean and a perfect place for a short stay. :) Would recommended.

A soul-nourishing stay with all the right vibes Our stay at Bayside was exactly what I didn’t know I needed. The space was beautifully styled, peaceful, and surrounded by nature—instantly calming and full of heart. You can really feel the intention behind every detail. The little yoga/ meditation/ chill out shack was such a grounding highlight—light-filled and serene, the perfect place to reconnect each morning. While I soaked up slow mornings and movement, my boyfriend headed off for a surf nearby, which gave us both the reset we needed in our own ways. It was one of those stays that leaves a lasting imprint. I drove away feeling lighter, more connected, and already planning our return.

The Tiny Home is in a beautiful, peaceful location that allows you to live as close to nature as possible. You soon realise the space we think we need is not the reality. A very comfortable place to stay.
