Large garden with lots of outdoor seating and plenty of space for kids to play football, jump on the trampoline etc. No matter what season you visit Spruce lodge it has something great to offer, be it the garden in full bloom during Summer, the gorgeous Autumnal colours of Autumn, the warm romantic Winter evenings by the open fire or the awakening of nature in Spring with the dawn chorus, you won't be disappointed.

This is a unique, cosy, self contained, elevated POD set in a private garden, close to the water, overlooking Kinsale Harbour and town, in the jewel of Kinsale - Summercove. You can relax while watching the boats go by, take long coastal walks, go for a swim in the ocean, dine in the local award winning pub/restaurant (The Bulman), explore the 16th century fort (Charles Fort), take a stroll into town or an electric bike & head out exploring. Mount Kid Cottage is off the beaten path near the stunning Wild Atlantic Way route. Secluded and tranquil, we are 90 minutes minutes from Cork Airport, 2 hours west of Cork city and a 15 min DRIVE from Ballydehob. Surrounded by working farms on 4 acres; an oasis of trees and home to a variety of bird life.

We have a cozy guest cabin in our garden. It is situated behind our cottage We live roughly 4 miles outside Kinsale in a charming rural area. All narrow roads. It is very relaxing, a perfect place to chill, while being 10 minutes drive from the tourist town. If you are contemplating a visit this year we advise booking prior to 19th May if possible.
