The cabin is in Ballstad - in the heart of Lofoten and perfect for a visit to the world's most spectacular archipelago. Den populære Hauklandstranda ligger ca 15 minutter fra rorbua. Leknes by, flyplass og hurtigruten i kort avstand til rorbua. Ønsker du å prøve lykken i den fiskerike Vestfjorden, er leie av båt mulig. I månedene jan-april pågår det kjente Lofotfisket, og du kan oppleve dette fisket på Ballstad, som er et av Lofotens største og livskraftige fiskevær.

Rorbua er 120 år og totalrenovert og har alle moderne fasiliteter og likevel den historiske sjarmen. Det er nytt bad og nytt stort kjøkken med oppvaskmaskin. Du må kun gå noen få meter langs kaien så finner du en god restaurant som er åpen i sommersesongen . Rett ute av døren finner du vakkert turterreng som venter...

Welcome to a sanctuary by the sea in the middle of the Lofoten islands. The newly built cabin is placed nicely by the sea with beautiful views. Sleeps 6 people, includes a dining room, living room, sauna, and fully stocked kitchen, floor heating, great wifi and free electric car charger! Towels and sheets are included. It is situated a 10 minute drive from Leknes and the airport. This cabin is in the middle of a peaceful and quiet and private area with own parking and hiking close by.

Original Rorbu with sauna and wilderness bath

One of the very few original fishermen's cabins still around. It is more than 150 years old, but has been re-done and is in very good condition. The timber walls offers genuine ambience, yet the cabin also offers conveniences such as a sauna, bathroom and modern kitchen. The rorbu is most suitable for a couple or a family with 2 children.
