Thatched and built from stone, the cottage offers stunning views into a verdant garden and over a farm dam. Everything on the property, from the food we grow to how we live, and generate electricity, is based on being environmentally sustainable. Nestled amongst the pristine granite outcrops of the Lowveld, almost invisible to the eye, it is a true architectural gem. It has a lounge area, indoor fireplace, patio gas grill, well-equipped kitchen and decks with breathtaking views. The bedroom and en-suite bathroom, as well as a secluded jetted bath, are situated on lower decks.

This is a very comfortable, centrally-located family home with an open-plan living space leading out to a large deck, which overlooks a sparkling pool and treetops of the adjacent green belt. The house is best suited for up to 4 adults and their children (maximum 6 guests in total). Because the unit only has 2 ground floor bathrooms, we will not be able to accept booking requests for 6 adults. Strictly no noise and no parties allowed.

My place is close to the city center. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and big groups. My cottage is on the Panorama route on the way to God's Window, The Pinnacle, Bourke's Luck Potholes, The Three Rondawels and The Blyde River Canyon to name but a few. It is a wonderful "home away from home".
