The cottage is a few minutes walk from 2 great pub /restaurants, coffee shop and convenience store. Bus stop to Glasgow and neighbouring villages is also a few minutes. The location is great for Glasgow airport only 7 miles, loch Lomond is 20 miles away and the ferries on the coast are only 15 miles away that go to many islands.

We are situated on the John Muir way with plenty of walking and cycling routes. Findlay Cottage is the entirely separate annexe of our house with private entry, field and private parking. The Strath in Killearn is a delightful country home. The cosy seating area with wood burning stove opens into the kitchen and dining area. A large lounge with original fireplace is accessed through double doors. The kitchen doors provide access to the garden area, sheltered by surrounding trees. The two available comfortable double bedrooms upstairs provide views across the hills and countryside. A bathroom with bath and shower upstairs is complimented by the additional bathroom downstairs.

There are many walks in and around Twechar itself for instance the Roman Fort and easy access to the Trossachs.
