Lovely house with everything that you need. Spacious garden with A beautiful view

We were greeted well upon arrival. They showed and explained everything. We were also lucky to see beautiful peacocks on the territory. The house corresponds to the description and photos. There is a good sauna, a large pool and there is a passage from a small goubina to a large one. The jacuzzi is also large. Everything is clean and neat, we liked it, the child is delighted, we will definitely come again.🙃

We hebben een heerlijk weekend gehad, waarbij Coach House voor ons een geweldige plek was voor familiebezoek in Lavendon, St Albans en Hemel Hempstead. Connie heeft een prachtige plek gecreëerd waar wij ons met zijn vijven onmiddellijk thuis voelden. Ruim, schoon!!, rustig en aan alles is gedacht (o.a. zeep op de toiletten, zachte handdoeken, heerlijk beddengoed!). Keuken is goed uitgerust, de banken zitten lekker en de bedden hebben goede matrassen. Ook fijn: 2 toiletten. Prima locatie, rustig gelegen met heerlijke tuin. Harrold zelf is klein maar met een mooi park en een fantastisch restaurant: Oakley Arms. De host zelf hebben we het hele weekend niet gezien maar de communicatie vooraf en ter plekke was duidelijk en verliep goed. Wij komen een volgende keer heel graag weer terug!!

Would highly recommend staying at Mel’s house. The place was so clean and nice when we arrived. We did a long stay (2 months) and it made transition with a baby to a new country so seamless as Mel is friendly, helpful and the house had everything you could think of for a family. Beds where all extremely comfortable the house super spacious, nice gardens, couldn’t fault the stay at all!

This is a gem of a place, in stunning surroundings. Super cosy with a gorgeous bedroom. Laura is a faultless host who reacted very quickly to my late requested for the accommodation. I'll be back.

Clean tidy and quiet just what we needed after a hard days work

Great little cottage. David was extremely helpful on arrival with lots of knowledge of the local area. Great local countryside walks. Can recommend the two local pubs.

I had an amazing stay at this place! The space was incredibly clean and well-maintained, making me feel right at home from the moment I walked in. The house was also very spacious, providing plenty of room to relax and unwind. The pictures just don’t do it justice. Swimming pool and Sauna was a nice touch for sure and definitely made use of it. John was responsive and helpful, making the entire experience seamless. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay

Patricia's home is lovely, warm and cozy. We booked at the last minute so that our family could spend Christmas together. We appreciated the lovely welcome and provision of staples like milk, butter, tea, coffee, juice and also crusty bread. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a full Christmas dinner with ease. Patricia had even gone to the trouble to decorate her home for Christmas for us, which was very special. We all enjoyed our time together there. It is a bonus to have a full bathroom and an extra toilet for a family, too. The setting in the park is peaceful and welcoming and there are nice walks around the woods and lakes; our dog loved it, too. This is a wonderful place to stay in every way and Patricia is a very thoughtful and accommodating host. Thank you!

Staying here was brilliant, the hosts are very friendly. The room is modern, spotless and has a nice homey feel. The hot tub is top quality and the pool looks beautiful even though it was too cold for us to use. It’s a fairytale at a great price, the area is gorgeous and a 15 minute train ride away from Cambridge, overall great location!

I didn’t stay personally, but my partner and daughter went there for a weekend, the place is wonderful, especially if you have dogs. Beds are comfortable and all round reports were positive. The only things worth a mention I suppose our lack of Wi-Fi/phone reception and also if you are driving a van the people on the gate can be quite unhelpful. Probably best mentioning it in advance so the owner can have a word but my family loved it and would happily go back 😊

Spotless and beautiful haven with everything we needed for a girl’s hiking weekend. Loved the yard and all the nature in the surrounding area. Pool and hot tub were a great bonus. Bridget was an outstanding host: friendly, responsive and really attentive to our needs. Would definitely return. Thank you for a wonderful, rejuvenating time.

We had an amazing time at the Cottage! The bed was super comfy, and the whole place is incredibly peaceful – perfect for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy some quiet time. The surroundings are beautiful, and Angela was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway.

really enjoyed my stay. this is a basic room that's pet friendly bring your own heating fuel like coal and logs, fire lighters for the log burner.

Dunbar’s place was ideal for our short stay. We were visiting the area for a family Christmas reunion and needed somewhere to stay with our two young children. The house was clean, comfortable and kitted out with what we needed for cooking, a high chair, a bath etc. We had to pay for on street parking but there was plenty of space outside the house. Thank you Dunbar!

We had such a lovely stay at this cabin – it was clean, cosy, and the perfect little escape. The space feels modern yet warm, with everything you need for a relaxing break. The little touches made it feel extra special – like the speaker, soft towels, and comfy bathrobes provided for the jacuzzi. The surrounding area is peaceful and quiet, and the neighbours were respectful, which really added to the sense of calm. Overall, I had a wonderful time and would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable retreat. I’ll definitely be booking again!
