Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in der White House Lodge sehr genossen. Wir haben uns schnell wie zuhause gefühlt in der grosszügigen Wohnung. Es war alles da, was wir brauchten. Die schöne grosse Terrasse lädt zum Verweilen ein. Janaka und seine Familie haben uns sehr herzlich empfangen und wir haben interessante Gespräche geführt. Unsere beiden gleich alten Söhne haben sich angefreundet, vielleicht eine Freundschaft fürs Leben? Das Internet funktioniert sehr gut, perfekt um zwischendurch zu arbeiten. Janaka hat unsere Ferien mit Tipps für Ausflüge bereichert. Sewwandi hat sehr lecker für uns gekocht, vielen Dank dafür! Preis-Leistung ist top! Wir kommen wieder.

Our group had an absolutely perfect stay at Kinkini Bandaragama! The expansive garden area was a huge hit with our group of eight people. We were able to set up for our morning yoga sessions easily and had plenty of room for games in the afternoon. Inside, the living room easily accommodated our entire group. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals for everyone. The quiet and secluded location made it perfect for our meditation retreat; the peaceful surroundings really enhanced our practice. The house is conveniently located just a short ten-minute drive from Pearl Bay Water Park. We also enjoyed a peaceful boat ride on the serene Bolgoda Lake, just a short drive away. There's also a large supermarket just 10 minutes away, making it easy to stock up on supplies. The host, Tamara, was incredibly responsive and helpful, answering all our questions promptly and providing us with great recommendations for local restaurants. Dilhan and his family welcomed us warmly from the start. We were well looked after and had people to contact around the clock. The apartment is clean and as shown in the pictures. Unfortunately, the apartment is opposite a very noisy street, but after the first few days this didn't bother us anymore and we were able to sleep well at night in the comfortable beds with earplugs. The apartment also has no hot water, but that didn't bother us at all in 30 degree heat. There is a bus stop right outside the front door from which you can get directly to Ahangama and Mirissa for little money. There is no air conditioning, but there is a powerful fan in every room. We highly recommend the accommodation and really felt very comfortable during our two weeks of stay :)

Wir hatten das Glück, bei Damith in seiner idyllischen Blockhütte zu übernachten – eine wunderbare Erfahrung. Der Ort ist perfekt zum Entspannen inmitten der Natur. Damith war unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Jeden Morgen bereitete er uns ein köstliches Frühstück zu, und zu einem Geburtstag organisierte er ein festliches Abendessen samt liebevoller Dekoration. Ein besonderes Highlight war, dass wir in seinem Garten einen Baum pflanzen durften. Der große Garten bietet viel Platz, und Hund Romi sowie die Enten Black & White machten den Aufenthalt noch besonderer. Damith unterstützte uns beim Mieten eines Scooters und beim Geldwechsel. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gab es in der Nähe. Die Anreise mit dem lokalen Bus war unkompliziert, von der Busstation zur Villa Ovita sind es nur 700 Meter. Ob zum Arbeiten mit stabilem Internet oder zum Entspannen – wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Herzlichen Dank lieber Damith.

We highly recommend this apartment, it is even better than the photos! It is super clean and feels very spacious with comfortable sofas. It feels like such a large space with an upstairs bedroom and the large downstairs bedroom has an en suite. The pool is amazing, 100 % private and so lovely to be able to cool down and chill out. It is walking distance to local shops, markets and the fort. It is worth enquiring if they would consider a 2 night stay. Liaising with Dineru and meeting his Dad was a pleasure. They were so flexible on our departure and we really cannot thank them enough. Do not hesitate to book here, fantastic value.

Wir haben einen Zwischenstopp bei unserer Heimreise von Galle nach Negombo zum Flughafen hier gemacht. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und die Gastgeber außerordentlich nett. Gerne wieder!

Simply, it was our home for a short period of time. Everything was so perfect that we didn't even want to make a call to get clarification. Genuka is a very friendly person, and from the moment we placed the reservation, he was carefully concerned about what we wanted. And his father, who handed over the key to us, was also a very gentle and professional person who explained everything in the house clearly. The neighborhood is very relaxing, calm, and safe. There's a grocery store very close to the house where you can purchase almost all the things you need to cook (the house has a nice kitchen that includes all the related items to make your own meals). And the Galenigama highway interchange is much closer, so you can access most of the places very quickly. So Genuka's property is highly recommended; it is a nice, clean, safe, and calm place to relax and achieve your requirements closer to the main cities. Good Luck! 

Our stay was truly unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, the hosts made us feel like part of their family. They were incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive. Several evenings, they prepared mouthwatering traditional dinners for us, each meal bursting with authentic flavors – it was a real treat for our taste buds! What really stood out was how they went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, always ready to assist us with anything we needed, and doing so with a smile. Their hospitality added a special touch to our experience. Even though this is my fourth time in Sri Lanka, this stay has been one of the highlights of my trips. I’ll definitely be returning, as they truly made our vacation even more memorable. Highly recommended to anyone looking for an authentic and heartwarming experience!
