Stabl Y Felin - a unique, eco stable conversion

Stabl Y Felin is a Grade 2 listed converted stable attached to a heritage corn mill, that has been lovingly restored using traditional skills and sustainable materials and furnishings. With it's 4.5m ceilings, the stabl comes with an airy bedroom with kingsize sleigh bed, en-suite with walk-in shower, sitting room with reclaimed kitchenette and breakfast bar, and a hayloft with a kingsize futon hidden on top for the brave. A peaceful, rustic, village getaway in the hills, 4 miles from the coast.

The Copper Hide - Beautiful and Unique Escape

The Copper Hide is a unique escape at Arth Valley Retreat on the west coast of Wales. This old dairy milking parlour was converted into accommodation some years ago but has recently (2024) benefited from a complete makeover. With a roll top bath, mezzanine bed with large star gazing window and Woodburning stove. During your stay you’ll be free to roam our piece of the valley that flows down to a river with waterfalls. Only a few minutes from the sea. Come and enjoy this romantic spot in nature.

Y Beudy is one of our 2 cottages, along with Y Bwthyn, it is a ground level cottage, converted from a stone cowshed with wheelchair access. Open plan lounge with log burner and kitchen/diner, double bedroom, bunk bed bedroom, wet room bathroom & original vaulted ceilings & beams throughout. With a private, enclosed, dog friendly, south facing garden, the views are beautiful. Red Kites circle overhead & the entire property is surrounded by farmland, with 5 acres of our land for you to explore.

A meticulously restored grain silo full of character and unique features; a study in using, re-using & recycling wood metal and functional parts. Cwt yr Hafod is a cosy shepherds hut positioned in field fenced off from farm animals, with far reaching views, private and peaceful with abundance of wildlife, buzzards, kites and at night, owl and bats. On a clear nights gaze at the stars from the hot tub. Underfloor heating, WC and shower. Outside lighting with seats ,and firepit. A place to explore Ceredigion Coastline (3 Miles). 10 min walk to Cross Inn village pub specializing in real ales beer garden, PO and well stocked shop.

Countryside cabin - 'Hud y Machlud'. You'll be staying in one of our three luxury cabins in the heart of the countryside with hot tubs. We are close to many of the areas best attractions including the Ceredigion coastal path, numerous stunning beaches, Fantasy Farm, the award winnings harbour towns of Aberaeron and New Quay and the University towns of Lampeter and the beautiful Aberystywth. We are very central within the county of Ceredigion.

Gwarffynnon Barn Holiday cottage is situated on our family home and smallholding, with distant sea views over the country side, lots of animals and wildlife and wonderful sunsets. a convenient location with easy reach to costal towns of aberaeron, Newquay, Aberystwyth and cardigan. As well as many guests visiting the likes of the Elan Valley, devils bridge and may other walking spots.
