There are pet ducks, chickens, piggies, lambs, friendly goats, 3 dogs, 3 cats around. The dogs are in their own area. Enjoy the peaceful rural surrounds and wake up to the sounds of the country. Unwind in this beautiful former and fully renovated pottery shop in Otane village - 3 minutes drive from the main highway (easy!). 25 minutes from Hastings, 40 minutes from Napier and only 30-40 minutes from the most beautiful beaches in Hawkes Bay. Our place is fully self-contained. The beautiful original cobble stone floors, high ceilings with its rafters, french doors and modern interior create a light and warm loft-style feeling.

Captivating Country Escape

Enjoy the stunning panoramic rural vistas while soaking in the deluxe outdoor bath for two, take a row in the romantic wooden rowboat, make s'mores by the outdoor fire. If the weather is cold light the indoor fire and be warm and toasty while you curl up with a good book, or pull out the selection of board games and have a cozy day in. You can even watch a movie on the projector screen that comes down with the press of a button right at the end of the bed. A unique and special couples getaway.

Eco Studio Retreat Maraetotara Valley

Our place is a unique architectural designed passive solar, straw bale home with recycled native wood and natural clay finish. Enjoy the warmth, peaceful feel and views of the beautiful Maraetotara valley and relax in the natural spring water hot tub. The 30 sqm studio is located within the main house, has a separate entrance, private deck and parking with EV charger. Kitchen with toaster, microwave, fridge, induction cooktop and electric BBQ on deck. Breakfast pack for the first day.

Stoneridge Farmstay, bed and breakfast

Stoneridge Farmstay is a peaceful drystock farm where you can enjoy the stunning rolling landscape of the Tararua region. Enjoy a quiet evening in the country amongst the birds and gardens, Wake up to the house cows be milked, visit the calves, sheep and our farm dog family. We provide a spacious room with queen bed and ensuite, continental breakfast, satellite TV, free tea and coffee facilities. Within 10 mins drive to danniverke & Norsewood. Takapau Yurt Experience

Situated in the side garden by the main house on a privately owned sheep farm (42 acres). Stunning views across the valley from behind the yurt and mountain views from the beautiful native garden surrounding the house. Guest bathroom is inside the main house. Breakfast is included and dinner is available at request and additional charge from my fully licenced food truck. Local superette 5mins drive away in the village, several nearby bush walks and wineries within a 15 min drive.

Our home away from home, in the heart of the Beach Village, is perfect for all occasions. The white sand beach is just a stroll away, ideal for all water activities/fishing, the 9 hole golf course is over the road, with the river close by. The township has all the amenities you need: Dairy, Takeaways, Coffee Cart, Petrol, Pub & Meals at the Country Club on Friday. Our house sleeps 15 - 3x bedrooms +bunk room - 9 beds, 1 sofa bed, 1 fold out bed.

Woodside Cottage

A quiet, relaxing self contained unit separate from the main house, located on the edge of Waipawa. Enjoy a drink on the deck looking out over the garden and listen to the birdsong. It's just a 10 minute walk to the shops, cafes, theatre and is handy to the cycle trails of Central Hawkes Bay. The beaches and Ruahine Ranges are not far away and it's only a 30 - 40 minute drive to Hastings or Napier.

Try out tiny home living in this fully self contained shipping container. Your stay will be private, with our main house behind a large hedge. This space has every comfort for a home away from home. Ideal as a stay in between the major cities. Large parking space, enough to fit a small truck. Best suited for 2 guests.

A charming rustic studio, set on a rural lifestyle block, 4km from Waipukurau. Only 4kms from the nearest supermarket. very close to cycleways so please bring your bikes. Good fly fishing in the tuki tuki and waipawa rivers, only a few kms away. Nice beaches about 40mins drive from us.
