Buffalo Thorn on Kokopelli Farm

Buffalo Thorn sleeps 2 - 6 guests in two bedrooms with a double and single bed in each room. An open plan kitchen with fridge/freezer, stove/oven, dining area and lounge with fireplace. The bathroom boasts a large shower and bath. Large veranda in front and braai area at the back . Fully equipped for self-catering, all linen and medium-sized bath towels supplied. The cottage is off grid with solar power. Therefor only laptops and cell phones may be charged. No other appliances may be used.

'River on my stoep' is a well equipped self-catering cottage in the Hekpoort Valley. The wooden cabin is on the Magalies River and is surrounded by the sounds of nature - the haunting cry of a jackal and a chorus of frogs is our music at night. One of the few places that you can still see fire flies at night (in summer) A rowing boat is moored in front of the cottage, exclusively for our guests. 'Catch-and-release' fishing is permitted.
