We had a great stay at Benjamin’s house. Comfortably accommodated 7 adults and 4 children. Benjamin’s communication was excellent throughout. The house is lovely and the photos don’t do justice to the amount of space. Very well equipped. Bakewell town centre is under 5 minutes walk away. Playground and pub also very close. Located on a quiet cul de sac with enough space on the drive for three cars. Would highly recommend.

Great location for countryside walks and also for catching the train into Manchester within half hour.

Perfect property, in a great location and a fantastic host. The house was everything we needed for our short 2 day stay. Great location for walking in the peaks and for visiting Buxton. We ate at local restaurant A Tavola (1min walk from the house) and it was absolutely incredible. Highly recommended property!

Heather was great and responded promptly with any questions and even went to purchase a new hairdryer and delivered it at the property when we couldn’t find one. The house is clean, beautifully furnished and conveniently located for shops and eateries. We were all very comfortable staying there and would definitely book again.

I only stayed at North Cottage for one night with my little dog as a stop over to Hertfordshire from Glasgow, but I wish I could have stayed longer. Communication from Claire with instructions prior to my arrival was spot on. The main property and grounds are beautiful. North cottage is spotless clean, warm, extremely comfortable with everything you will need. The cottage is also very private and peaceful. A lovely time was spent even though it was short. Thank you!

We had an amazing stay, Claire's had everything we could possibly need & more! Location was great, a 1 minute walk to the local pub which was really friendly & great for quiz night on a Wednesday! A 20 minute walk into Holmfirth for a choice of lovely coffee shops & places to eat! Plenty of walks & bike rides straight out of the house! I would definitely revisit Jess’s place again. The location is conveniently situated just outside the bustling center, with several bus stops nearby that make it easy to reach the Trafford Center for shopping, as well as visit the iconic Manchester Football Stadium. I had a fantastic time relaxing in the evening by the cozy fire, which created the perfect atmosphere for our mini date night in the flat. The space was incredibly peaceful, allowing us to unwind and enjoy each other's company without distraction. Additionally, there are plenty of local shops and charming urban cafes within walking distance, making it a great spot for grabbing a coffee or exploring unique finds. Overall, the combination of comfort, accessibility, and a vibrant neighborhood makes it a wonderful place to stay.

Great value for money. Can't stress enough how friendly and reliable the staff were. We had a lovely week stay, the house was clean, the beds were comfy and the scenery was perfect. We were informed of the booking system for the swimming pool and games room, so you could have the room to yourself which was great. The pool was clean, the games room was kept tidy and the house surroundings were really lovely to walk around. You can tell the grounds were well maintained and kept in good shape as the workers never stopped, but were always so friendly. This property is perfect for bike riders, walkers and pub crawlers. You couldn't get bored.

Biggest asset was as a peaceful base for a week’s walking in the White Peak. Great location for Bakewell and Hartington areas. Good mix of scenery and plenty of dog friendly pubs. Pool a bonus. Accommodation was comfortable and a couple of maintenance issues were resolved without fuss.

A charming cottage, very close to all the local amenities in the lovely town of Holmfirth. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Everything you could possible need was provided, ensuring a relaxing and comfortable stay, also included was a welcoming pack which included all the basic essentials you might need on arrival and a few extras treats as well, all very much appreciated. There was excellent communication and support from Angela the host and the supporting team throughout. l hope to stay there again on a future trip.

Beth was an excellent host, providing clear instructions and responses well in advance of check in and responding to messages within minutes whilst we were staying. We had a great time, fantastic location to explore Cheshire and the North West and the kids loved the friendly dogs!

We recently spent two lovely nights at this beautiful secluded cottage. It was extremely clean, well appointed and cosy, with nice touches such as treats for our dog! Gemma was very welcoming despite being busy lambing, and we would love to return for another short break - highly recommended.

This is our second time here and we have enjoyed every minute of it as much as the previous time!! We stayed here recently for a few days and it was a much needed break away. We had a lovely 1 night stay at April's place as part of a longer journey. The annexe is cosy and welcoming, with a very comfortable bed. April had thoughtfully left plenty of breakfast supplies in the kitchen. Highly recommended.

I had the most wonderful stay here! A great location to go wandering in the peaks and also spent the day at Lyme Park! Would definitely recommend and will definitely rebook if I'm ever headed to that corner of the world again!
