The village of Menerbes (A Year in Provence - Peter Mayle) has mostly local villagers living here. Beautiful walks and cycling are popular pastimes. There are museums, an art gallery & a few shops run by locals. Unspoilt and completely unique.

The 11-metre-long salt pool is lined with olive trees and lavender trees with the profile of the village on the horizon.
