This was one of the best Airbnbs we’ve stayed at. The pictures don’t capture how nice it is. Very clean and comfortable beds. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking meals. We appreciated Chris’s kindness and hospitality.

A truly tranquil experience.The energy of Orcas Island is captured here. I will remember the view off my deck (with coffee in the AM and wine in the PM) for a long time. I wouldn’t hesitate to book. It was an awesome place to think about and enjoy life. It is an easy walk down to everything Eastsound. Sherri was very very kind.

We've been staying at Julie's and Peter's place/s for close to 15 years now. They are unsurpassed in the quality of attention to detail, added amenities, and communication when it comes to vacation homes. We woke up this morning and I said, "They did it again. We walk in, we settle, and we feel like home." We don't ever feel this comfortable anywhere else, and frankly, don't want to return home. My husband thought about going out to buy a kite, and I said, "I bet there's one here." There were two! Plus, the West Beach walks with the views in every direction at this location are something else. Thank you for sharing your magic, Julie and Peter - our kids have practically grown up vacationing on Whidbey thanks to you.

Awesome spot for our group of 7 buddies. Walked to the small public beach to watch the sunset and star gaze. A couple of us even did a cold plunge. Hot tub was great after a long day of mtb. Kitchen accommodated our large group for family meals and the proximity to eastsound for brunch at Brown Bear on Sunday was great! Can’t wait to come back.

Such a cute place! Right in the heart of the town so it was easy to walk to the nearby restaurants and shops. Also, right on the beach with easy access. Will definitely stay here again!

Our stay at the log castle was outstanding! This Beautiful, very clean, unique home has a great layout for gathering and connection. We particularly loved the swivel chairs by the windows that allowed us to engage with each other while also swiveling around to take in the beautiful view. We saw many birds including herons, Eagles, and hummingbirds, as well as an entertaining group of Harbor Seals lounging on the floating raft! We were able to walk to town on the beach during low tide, but the downed trees did test our nimbleness so we chose to get a ride back. Enjoyed the shops, restaurants and relaxed vibe in town.

This is a cottage and is as beautiful, cute, quaint and aesthetic as the photos showed on the listing. It’s in a terrific location, we felt safe and it was peaceful. The interior was very clean especially the bathroom, thoroughly clean.

This home was a true gem. Friday Harbor is a beautiful place, and Simone’s home has all the things you’d need and want for a stay here. You can view parts of Jackson beach and the ocean from the deck and several rooms. The hot tub was lovely, the open space and lack of clutter was refreshing. The neighborhood is lovely and quiet. When we return to Friday Harbor, I will be looking to book again.

Lynna and Dennis’s cottage was the single best airbnb experience we’ve had. The space is beautiful and cozy, and our hosts were infinitely kind and welcoming. There is so much to do on this property—it was a true “choose your own adventure” experience. It seemed like every day we discovered a new nook or cranny that Lynna and Dennis have put there to surprise and delight guests. We kayaked, explored the tide pools, lit the wood stove when it got chilly out, and had an all around wonderful time. Their recommendations for things to try around the island were spot on. (Check out the whale watch they suggest—we had a blast, and learned a lot about the region!) There is so much more to be done and enjoyed on this property and on Orcas than we could fit into four days, and we sincerely hope we’ll have the chance to return soon!
