We loved spending Easter weekend in this lovely home. It was well equipped with everything we needed, and we enjoyed both the wood burning stove and the nice sunny terrace after exploring Cockermouth and the Lake District.

Christopher’s house was very welcoming and dog friendly. His dog had even left a couple of balls for my dogs to play with. Although close to a busy road, the garden was well fenced in and safe. The house is beautifully decorated. And the location is very close to some great trails. Thanks Christopher

We had a wonderful stay at this charming farmhouse in the Lake District. The place was immaculately tidy, with a very well-catered kitchen that had everything we needed—perfect for cooking up a proper Easter Sunday roast, which we were lucky enough to enjoy outside in the garden thanks to some glorious spring sunshine. The wood burner made the evenings extra cosy, and the peaceful, beautiful surroundings made for a truly relaxing break. Diana was excellent—friendly, helpful, and very responsive. highly recommended!

Fantastic Easter break, accommodation as described, nicely presented and clean. Great location for North Lakes, quiet village, only owls at night could be heard! Walked from the barn to Loweswater also short drive to Crummock Water & Buttermere. Excellent host and great communication. Thanks ☺️

Absolute stunning location and you really are lots in wildlife when here. The Tree Sparrows on the feeder were my highlight 💚. It was exactly what we needed for a couple of nights and we would have loved to stay for longer if we could. You are very private and aren’t overlooked by the house, grounds or the road. Kitchen had everything we needed, including a little jug of milk on arrival. Bed was very comfy! Fell straight off to sleep. Place has a few board games (we loved Bug Bingo!). 100% recommend!

The cottage was exactly as described. The owners were very communicative and we had no issues during our stay at all. It is a great location, nice and quiet very close to Kielder Water and Forest Park.

Wonderful place in a perfect location of Keswick. A short walking distance to the shops and the lake. Certainly enjoyed taking the dog out for his walk with all the parks near by and a stroll to see beautiful views of Derwent water. The beds were comfy and the place was nice and cosy. A good variety of entertainment in games and books for the kids as well as ourselves. Having our own parking space was very convenient. We saw a lot of cars taking forever looking for one. I will definitely look at staying again when we next visit 😀

The caravan was tastefully decorated, sparkling clean and right by the little pond - definitely the best spot in the holiday park! It had all the equipment we needed and there was lots to do for the children around the holiday park as well. Can't fault it really..

I had a very lovely experience. Host is very nice and her place is very clean and beautiful, i would say that it looks better on ground than picture...everybody there was very friendly. I was a bit scared because we are people of colour but I would say that I have never been happier

We had a lovely short break here. The house is lovely, very clean and spacious. I do think the bathrooms and kitchen need replacing but it wouldn’t put me off staying there again. We only used the swimming pool at the village but it was lovely. Host was very quick to respond to questions before we arrived. A good place to stay to explore the Lake District

Lovely cabin. All you could hear was birds and sheep. The view from the cabin was beautiful. I had problems finding the cabin. I did not put in the postcode as instructed but the sat nav took me round in circles. I didn’t have a phone number to ask for help. I saw the A69 four times ! The surrounding countryside is beautiful though. I would definitely stay there again.

This flat is an absolute gem right in the heart of beautiful Keswick. Check in was so easy and the directions to get to the flat were spot on. We felt at home straight away. The flat is spotlessly clean and has everything you need for a perfect and comfortable stay. Sandra even left a packet of crisps and a bottle of prosecco on arrival for us which was such a lovely touch. We had no problems with the parking space available. The only tiny and very very small downside we found was that the traffic on the main street could be heard early morning from around 6.30ish when in the main bedroom. It is not heard in the middle floor bedroom as it doesn't have a window facing the main street. However we would definitely stay here again. Sandra is a fantastic host, very responsive and helpful. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Absolutely stunningly renovated old Sunday school, very clear instructions helped us find the home first time. The home itself has absolutely everything you need. We had cosy nights in front of the fire, enjoyed cooking whilst watching the lambs play in the field, relaxed in the spa room after a long day of walking. The doggy hamper was a special touch ❤️ My personal favourite was a long soak in the incredible bath tub. There a lots of wonderful walks right on the doorstep. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a perfect relaxing few days.

We all had an amazing time ! Plenty space for our family of 11 and 3 dogs.

Me and a group of friends stayed here over Easter and it was the most incredible place. Anton and Penny were so helpful and lovely. The complimentary breakfast and food at the pub was so delicious and the yurt was so cosy, clean and well put together. Would definitely come back to this Airbnb. Penrith was a 15 minute drive away and the village was very picturesque. Would recommend this place to anyone wanting a relaxing stay with some very helpful hosts

Great 2 night visit. Owners lovely and place very unique. loved the warm, cosy bothy and perfect setting.

The perfect country cottage in a gorgeous setting. Pheasants, rabbits and beautiful fairy lights in the secluded courtyard for a relaxing evening. Well equipped kitchen with a lovely selection of herbal teas, comfy beds and although we didn't need the log burner, it promises a cosy feel on cooler nights. Helen is a fab host and we will definitely be back .
