This house worked really well for our family. the rooms are well-proportioned, the beds were comfy and the house was clean. there were a few bakeries and eateries within walking distance and a star market a 7 min drive away. There's a public park with a runni g track 2 min walking distance away. Overall great house!

Perfect home and location for our family of 5 for a long weekend in Boston. Susan provided great local recommendations which we took advantage of. Neighborhood was perfect for getting in and out of Boston and exploring.

Loved the spotless antique home lovingly restored. It is a unique stone cottage in the neighborhood. The back of the house overlooks wetlands, so great views from the back of the house. The main bedroom has a very soft mattress, which we know our adult children would have loved, and since we prefer a firmer bed, we were able to move to the second bedroom after a few nights. We were visiting our 2 year old grandson and we spent most of our time at his parent's home but cooked at the stone cottage, which had all that we needed, and brought it to their house. The outdoor space of steep grades to the wetlands and inside space of steep stairs would be challenging for toddlers. but it was fine for us. We were so appreciative of Lauren's flexibility with both our arrival and departure; it made a big difference to us. Thank you, Lauren.

The location was perfect for our needs. The beds are very comfortable, the shower is great with lots of hot water. It has a very comfortable and relaxing feel. There is an excellent Thai restaurant a few blocks away. The neighborhood is quiet and many local conveniences are in easy walking distance too.

My family and I needed to find a place to house us all to attend a family wedding and Andrea‘s house was just the spot! Conveniently located to the venue as well as close to town, we found a little oasis tucked away in Cohasset. We will definitely be back the next time we visit the area. The property is beautiful, unique, private, and very large. Can’t recommend this place enough!

The apartment was as listed, and very clean, with all the amenities we needed to stay there. It was centrally located to all the areas we went to. The directions to get in were very clear. Dev was very responsive when I contacted him and it was overall a great stay.

A great base while my child attended a sailing course at Duxbury Bay Maritime School. This is a lovely area. Bogs, salt marshes, beaches. The house was very clean and beds super comfortable. Sunset over the pond is beautiful ! Advertised as max 8 people though there is only bed space for 4. Having said that, there is plenty of space in the house for more people with air mattresses. Only other comment is that there is not much in the kitchen. Nespresso machine but no pods. No other coffee maker that I saw. Salt and pepper in the cupboard but nothing else. No pasta strainer. Small things that didn't overall impact our experience but worth mentioning.

We absolutely loved everything about our stay. The location is beautiful. The house is spacious and comfortable with gorgeous views of the lake from almost all the living spaces. Our hosts were so helpful with information and went above and beyond to help us have a great Easter celebration with our family. We even had perfect weather everyday which allowed us to enjoy the huge deck overlooking the lake. We will definitely stay here again when in the area.

We absolutely loved our stay! The location was perfect for our family trip to Boston - a short walk to Boston Commons, and close to the T to get anywhere in the city quickly. We loved the historic charm of the house, and the well equipped kitchen made breakfasts easy each morning before we took off on our Freedom Trail adventures. Thanks for a great stay!

This is a huge space. There are a lot of stairs so don't rent this if you have trouble with stairs. The location was close to Boston but you will need a car or you will be taking the bus/T. There isn't any stores or restaurants nearby unless you want to walk a 1/2 mile or so. It was perfect for what we needed.

Beautiful home with a serene captivating back yard that will transport you to a best vacation possible. The home is big, well furnished and well stocked with everything you need. The kitchen is amazing and the living room is so bright overlooking the backyard. The hosts Frank & Mary are wonderful and available & responsive to help with anything you need, anytime. They really made our stay super comfortable. I am going to miss waking upto sounds of birds and nature. Thank you Mary and Frank for hosting me in your beautiful home. Highly recommended

We came to Boston for the marathon and are so grateful we chose to stay at George and Ann-Marie's bnb in Jamaica Plain. It is super close to the train that zips you right into the heart of Boston and is far enough away we could get some peace and enjoy the beautiful neighborhood away from all the race chaos. The home itself was very comfortable. We slept great. We enjoyed having coffee and drinks on the patio and lounging on the giant couches. It felt spacious with the 4 of us. We really liked walking 10 minutes up to Central for ice cream and restaurants, or 5 minutes over to the Sam Adams brewery. The neighborhood has tons of trees and was really quiet. George and Ann-Marie were very responsive and checked in with us during the stay to make sure we had all we needed. They also were able to accommodate a later check out, which was really helpful. Awesome spot!! We highly recommend it :)

Juan's place was perfect for our stay. Everything as described and reasonably priced.

We stayed here while we were attending a conference at the convention center and it was a great location! The neighborhood felt safe and it was an easy walk to the conference and also to good local restaurants and coffee shops. The apartment was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Thanks for a great stay!

We loved staying at Dan’s place. Great location - walkable to MIT and nearby shops and restaurants, as well as the Red Line (subway) and a bus line on Mass Ave to get into Boston. Even so, the house itself is on a quiet street so no city noise. While easy to walk places, we also appreciated having Dan’s permit to leave our car on the street outside the apartment during our stay. Dan is a great host - very responsive and available to answer questions and offer suggestions as needed. The apartment is comfortable and clean - it has been recently been renovated and is well equipped. Bed is especially comfortable! Easy to check-in and out - would definitely say again.

Rong was very friendly and helpful and communication with her was very reliable and uncomplicated. We had a good stay and the accommodation is a good base from which to explore Boston.

Mark and his villa were perfect for us during our "displacement" for almost 2 weeks while our floor was redone. He was the perfect host: 1 - being beyond accommoative with our quick displacement 2 - was an excellent communicator and lightning quick responses before/during/after our stay 3 - the villa is in a gorgeous area, with plenty to do nearby and all the amentities you could want: grocery stores, restaurants, and things to see/do super close 4 - there's plenty of room throughout the house for everyone (including our dog!) 5 - the kitchen is well-stocked both with cooking staples and equipment, even had a fresh bag of coffee waiting for us! I can't recommend him and this listing enough, whether you are displaced during reno's like we were or just in the area and looking for a place that can feel like a home away from home. It has everything you could need/want from my perspective, and I am very picky when I am spending an elongated period of time. Thanks Mark, was a pleasure :)

Like others' recommendation, Anna is such a warm hearted and knowledgable host. She will always care about you, good at communication while keep certain privacy. She will prepare you coffee and tea and cookie in the morning. Her house is very clean located at beautiful, peaceful and safe neighborhood with direct bus stop nearby. She help make my BM trip so easy and I will defenitely book again in the future and recommend to others.

I have stayed at quite a few Airbandbs and Anna's place is the best of all of them---quietest, best value for the cost, and nicest, most responsive host. I slept really well, which was important to me because I had a big race to run the next day. Anna is a charming host who was eager to help me with my every need. The place was spotless and everything was as good or better than expected. I would definitely go again, the next time I'm in this area. The location is great for doing all sorts of cultural and outdoor activities.

Anna is a wonderful host. Place is very clean and exactly as the pictures. I’ll be coming back when I visit Boston area.

We really enjoyed our stay at Tamara’s house. We arrived very late at night and everything is ready for us. We are a family of five and we do quite a bit of cooking. We got everything we needed from the house, saved us time and money. Highly recommend this house to everyone visiting the Boston/Newton area.
