Timberwood Tiny Home is a place to rest your head & heart in Efland, North Carolina. The peaceful retreat is down a country road approximately 10-minutes from downtown Hillsborough. The 200 square foot tiny home is on a private corner of 8-acres shared with our main house. It features Scandinavian-style details, two beds, a spacious porch, abundant natural light, a wood-fired hot tub, barrel sauna, cold plunge, and more. There are features of the home that may make it unsuitable for children.

Dog Happy & Centrally located cottage

Come enjoy this nautically themed cottage for a comfortable visit to Burlington/Elon NC. Fully furnished with stocked kitchen. Back patio and large fenced back yard - great for those traveling with pets. Dog bowls on site. Walk to multiple restaurants. 6 minute drive to Elon, 6 minute drive to downtown Burlington, 9 minutes to Alamance Regional Medical Center. Hosts are local and available for help or suggestions during your stay. No smoking or parties allowed. Dogs welcome, sorry - no cats.

Guest Suite: Artist studio turned into loft.

A guest suite that's a former artist studio with 10-15 foot high windows and 20 foot high ceiling, converted into one bedroom loft with private entrance, bath, living area, and kitchenette. The space is attached to the rest of my house, but you'll have a private entrance, your own bathroom, living area and kitchenette and two seat dining table. You will not have access to a full kitchen. New in September 2025: Blackout curtains provide privacy at night and a darker room for sleeping in.

The Dolly

The Dolly is a tiny house nestled in our Alamance County farm's wooded area. Just 15 minutes from the bustling village of Saxapahaw, the Dolly offers a bit of everything. Romp our woods, cuddle goats and donkeys, cast a fishing line or warm by a fire pit. Adventurers can bike Snow Camp's rural roads or drop kayaks in nearby Haw River. A wood burning stove keeps the Dolly cozy during winter stays; the cedar insulated walls (and AC) keep the house cool in the summer. Unplug and unwind with us.

The Lodge at Long Acres Farm

Welcome to Long Acres Farm, and our Lodge at the center of the action. The Lodge/tiny cabin is a 550 sq. ft home on our 52 acre horse farm. If you are looking for a genuine, relaxed farm experience you've found the right place! Get acquainted with our resident chickens, goose, ducks, goats, horses, cows, dogs, and cats from your doorstep. Join in the action and book time to participate in farm activities or just plan to relax and take in the peaceful surroundings. Just minutes to Saxapahaw!
