The ISLAND provides an amazing and unique escape that is truly one of a kind. This remarkable location is located only minutes off the highway and is less than an 1.5hr drive from Halifax. Enjoy the day exploring the shores and endless ocean views on land or in one of the kayaks or canoes provided. Spend the evenings with your favorite drink (and people) around the bonfire. Perched high on an ocean hillside, built on 30 ft tall steel legs, the cozy quarters above are akin to an old ship’s cabin. With 360 views at 30ft up you can chart the sun and stars across the sky, set your rhythm to the ebb & flow of the tide and scout the surf from above. Greet the evenings with a cozy woodstove, sunset with drinks on the deck, moonrise with a dip in the hottub & mornings with fresh espresso. Permit yourself to depart land for a while and come stand watch at The Tower.

Nestled privately off the road, the cabin offers beautiful views of the Historic Medway River in a tranquil nature setting. Watch the tide come in and out from the large deck, or venture out into the many trails nearby on the electric bikes. This space encourages both adventure and relaxation, and will be sure to bring you and yours closer.

Burns Cove cottage is a spacious, fully equipped vacation home. The waterfront location makes it a prime spot to relax, view nature. It’s also a great location to bike/ hike/drive the Lighthouse Route and Rails to Trails. Lunenburg, Mahone Bay, Chester and Bridgewater have some amazing local eateries, craft breweries, local wineries and lots of shops. A quick drive to the free ferry ride gets you to the LaHave bakery, crafts, pottery, art galleries and many beaches.

These unique and thoughtful suites, each of the three units are outfitted with subtle nuances giving the spaces their own special feel. Visitors will enjoy designer micro-kitchens, fully stocked with amenities any food enthusiast would appreciate. A cozy wood stove for those chillier evenings. All units have a special secondary sleeping nest area accessible by ladder. A serene place to hide away and watch for shooting stars through the skylight windows.
