This was our 3rd time staying at Strandhus. The space has a calming feel. The kitchen is well stocked with pots/pans/knives....everything you need to cook at home. We appreciate the short walk to the beach which is never crowded. The outside space is very peaceful. Although we stayed as a group of moms without our kids, this place would also be great for families and kids. We will be back!!

It is a wonderful place. So comfortable and fully stocked with everything you need to cook and hangout for a long weekend. We started with a group of old friends and enjoyed our time hanging out on the deck and cooking together. We drove to the beach only 20 minutes away. After they left we had a lovely time just relaxing in the hot tub, sitting outside and enjoying the beautiful weather we had. Though I must say even if it had been raining the outside porch is well covered and you could still enjoy being out there. Everyone was very pleased with the beds, super comfortable. There were plenty of linens and even outdoor towels, as well as seperate towels for the pets. (Though we did not have any with us) If I had any comment if would be, we were slightly disappointed that their was no leaf for the dining room table with eight of us and one in a wheelchair it was a tight squeeze, but we made it work! Again, not an issue, just a suggestion! All in all one of my favorite stays.

I really liked the location of the premises. Close to the ocean and a very nice community. Not a far walk to the beach. The house was very clean and loved that it was pet friendly. It was very spacious and felt comfy. My family enjoyed the board games and we definitely plan on coming back. Thank you! I highly recommend.

Love, love, love the Mermaid Escape! The house is so adorable and feels like a home away from home. The location is amazing! It's just a 5 min walk to the beach and on the way you pass a general store (which has about everything including firewood for the beach), a Mexican restaurant, and a brunch place. If you need anything else, it's just a 5 min drive away. The jacuzzi and fire pit on the deck are divine, and the two large soaking tubs put this place over the top! The owner, Lynnet, was super responsive and sweet. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking to feel like they are at a home-away-from home while also on a vacation. This place is amazing! It was just two of us on this trip so we had more room than we needed but felt like it was the perfect place for our visit to the Astoria area. We are already thinking about who to bring with us next time and will definitely stay here again if it is available. Nate was very responsive and checked in regularly to see if there was anything we needed. We will recommend this to friends and family traveling to the area and will be back again in the future. If it was possible, I’d give this 6 Stars!

Everyone absolutely loved the house. We had a wonderful time there. The house was in excellent working condition and had everything we could possibly need. It was everything we imagined and more! Our host Rachel is very kind and made sure we knew she was available if we needed anything. She contacted us the morning of our vacation to let us know the house was clean and that we could check in early if we wanted to. She was very accommodating and great to work with! Can’t wait to visit again!!

"Bright" is an accurate descriptor for Nicole's place. Even the downstairs bedroom has plenty of windows for natural lighting and green space views, and the upstairs spaces are simply delightful - painted in lively colors, with interesting decor, and windows everywhere. It was like living in a super cozy, warm, well laid out and appointed tree house.

We had a group of 6 and we had a great time staying in this beautiful and historic home. It had plenty of beds/space for everyone and a great big kitchen that was great for late night chats and sharing meals and drinks. The home is so cozy and wonderfully decorated. We enjoyed our daily walks to the beach as well as to the main shops. We also had lots of fun with the games and puzzles that are provided. It was an overall amazing trip and stay. I would highly recommend.

It's a lovely apartment with lots of space, a view out to the river, and spacious bedrooms. Communication was great. Walking distance from coffee and the maritime museum. I recommend this rental!

Very nice place to stay. Used hot tub on upper floor, wonderful view, somewhat of a hike, if any problems with walking, but we managed even with bad knees. Would definitely stay again. Great location.

Very clean Had a great guest book on all in/out instructions, use of appliances and tv. Plus places to go in the area. We have a Airbnb and would like to create one for ours. Great ideas and very helpful

We will definitely be coming back to Pat and Matt’s place. It was cozy, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The stunning valley views could be seen from every room in the house—especially beautiful to wake up to from the comfy bed. Pat and Matt added thoughtful touches, like leaving fresh eggs and croissants for us to enjoy in the morning, which we really appreciated. The location was perfect—just five minutes from the fairgrounds where we were attending an event. They checked in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed but also gave us plenty of privacy. Even though they were just upstairs, we never felt crowded. If we’re ever in the Tillamook area again, we’ll absolutely be back.

This is a great place, I’ve stayed twice. Love the onsite parking, hot tub on the balcony, kitchen with everything needed. It’s very close walk to the beach, about a block away. Activity room only has a pool table and TV, would be cool to see another pool table or shuffle board added.

The view was amazing; the apartment was clean and was conveniently located to the world's smallest harbor. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

Incredible place! Views of the town and the Columbia River. Feels like a genuine home but also like a classic b&b. Easy to walk into town, host was responsive, bathroom was excellent.

Dianna’s place is lovely! I’ve stayed there a few times and have always enjoyed my stay. It’s cozy, welcoming, and such a great environment to rest and recharge. I always look forward to going back!

Almost out of town, which made it very peaceful. Great eateries within a few miles. Try Grumpy's for a great breakfast but if you order the #1 be prepared to eat for a couple days. The pancakes were so big I would have had to start a week earlier to finish them. Loved the place, everything you could need that you might have left at home, was available. I've stayed at five star hotels that weren't this nice. I kept waiting for someone to come say it was time for my massage.

It’s a beautiful condo with an incredible view! The condo is very well stocked with all you might need, and very clean. Christy was a great communicator, and had recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the area. Check-in was easy. We really enjoyed our stay!

Amazing views of the ocean! The public access was steps away from this location. We had a overcast weekend but it didn’t affect our stay because of the natural light and amazing views. Bedrooms were clean and the full kitchen was a plus. Everything you needed to cook some meals was there. The reserve parking spot was also nice! Everywhere we drove seemed to be 7min away! We were fortunate to be allowed early access to the location. I’d highly recommend staying here. We looked at other places with comparable prices further from the ocean but nothing beats the ability to walk to the condo in a few minutes because you forgot something at the place! We will book here in the future.

Annie and Bob were both so hospitable! They’re flexible on check in, created a nice lovely space just by the ocean and most importantly they added a personal touch! They heard we drove in for my fiancée’s birthday and they left a card, martinelli’s with glasses and a flower! Above and beyond by a mile! Would definitely come through again!

Lovely condo with a view of the ocean from the outside deck. Fully stocked home with plenty of towels. It was clean and had a lot of additional blankets and pillows if needed. We enjoyed our stay very much! The 3 minute walk to the beach was everything. We spent a lot of time out on the deck .... such a beautiful spot!

Great location for visiting Cannon Beach (a couple minute walk and you're on the sand!), which was our primary interest. The space was as-described and comfortable, and was easy for us to spend time together playing games and watching movies while also providing us room to spread out. Also having a restaurant, small store, and park all "right there" along the short walk to the beach was very convenient (there are wild bunnies that roam the park area!). And it was a short, easy drive down the highway a few minutes to check out Arcadia Beach and Hug Point, too. Additionally, we appreciated how responsive Austin was whenever we reached out and the suggestions/guidance he shared for our stay.

This was a great place to stay! So clean!! Incredibly comfortable bed, well stocked kitchen including a coffee grinder, plus all the beach supplies you could need including beach chairs. The balcony and view were probably my favorite parts. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a great few days at Yings’s place! She was very responsive and had great welcoming instructions everything was a breeze to get to place. Wonderful view and easy walk to beach. Great for families. Definitely would recommend and stay again!
