My place is close to the breathtaking De Hoop Nature Reserve's white beaches, travelers hotspot Malagas with the pont, bush pub and boathouse restaurant. It's the perfect location to stay for a week and enjoy everything the area of Swellendam & Bredasdorp has on offer. You’ll love Die Blouhuis because of the uniqueness of staying in a old-styled farm house. It is remote and therefor very peaceful, private and safe - perfect retreat for couples, solo adventurers and families, especially kids.

Melk Houte Bosch Guest Farm The Farmhouse

The Farmhouse boasts an open plan, full kitchen, dining area, a cozy living room with air conditioning, free wi-fi, a fireplace, DSTV, a separate games room with table tennis & indoor braai area along with 3 spacious bedrooms that comfortably accommodate 6 people. There is also a splash pool that is filled with water straight from the river & due to all the tannins in the water, it has a brown colour. The Farmhouse is equipped with a gas stove & inverter, so loadshedding will not affect you.

Concordia Dam Cottage

Unique stand-alone, partially off the grid cottage overlooking working farm (Fynbos/Protea, Vegetables, Sheep, Cattle). Situated at the foot of the mountain next to a dam. Walking distance from Baardskeerdersbos. 18km from Pearly Beach and 22km from Gansbaai coastal area. This cozy cottage has 2 bedrooms, sleeping 4 guests and has a private woodfire hot tub next to the patio. Unfortunately, we can not accommodate any pets. The working farm has sheep roaming around and also 3 big farm dogs.

Vineyard Cottage | Goodluck Homestead

Off-grid eco cottage situated on a working regenerative farm in the heart of the Overberg, with panoramic views towards Walker Bay and the Kleinriviersberg mountains. Surrounded by fynbos and vineyards, this cottage has pure spring fed water, a wood fired hot tub, solar power so is not affected by load shedding. Guests are welcome to wander around the farm, swim and fish in the dams, and meander through the veggie gardens We regret no babies, children or pets are allowed for safety reasons.

Treyntjes Rivier Cottages

Treyntjes Rivier Cottages are about 9 km from Caledon and 25 km from Hermanus. It can accommodate up to 4 persons Two bedrooms each with their own en-suite bathroom. The main bedroom with a king size bed, the second bedroom with 2 single beds. The kitchen is fully equipped and the living area offers couches, Smart TV and WIFI Braai facilities are available in the garden. We no longer allow brides or grooms to get ready at our cottages on the day of their wedding. No day visitors

Sheltered in the summer by a lush canopy, in winter, stripped bare, inviting in the blue skies. In stormy cold weather a combustion oven works it's magic warming "THE TINY" making for cosy winter cuddling! The small forest forms part of LOKAL, a 1ha property, with an vegetable garden , Orchards of fruit & nuts, some chickens & the Garden Cottage.

Brown Dog Farm - 3 bdr farmhouse (pets welcome)

The farm is approximately 17 km from Gansbaai and 10 km from Baardskeerdersbos. It borders the Lomond Wine Estate, home of the Klipspringer MTB and running trails. The farm is a very quiet environment in the midst of nature. An ideal place for rest and relaxation with family and friends. Electricity on the farm is 100% solar-generated; the stove/oven and hot water heaters run on gas. Your stay will be unaffected by load-shedding. Note, the farmhouse has WiFi, but no televisions.

Fountainbush Cottage @ Amàre (Stanford/Gansbaai)

Fountainbush cottage is a self catering, eco friendly, family farm stay situated between Stanford and Gansbaai. The cottage is very safe and private overlooking a small farm dam, with horses and sheep wandering past your front gate. Our animals are all tame and your children can get up close and personal with mini pigs, chickens, sheep, horses and dogs. The cottage is well stocked with books, board games, a dress up basket for kids and everything a family needs to relax.

Hermanuspietersfontein offers comfortable accommodation in self-catering cottages on a farm 20 km east of Stanford. This peaceful place boasts majestic mountains, pristine fynbos, mountain streams and beautiful vineyards. Each cottage is equipped with linen, cutlery, cooking utensils and basic toiletries. Wood is provided for the barbecue facilities inside and outside. Area activities include hiking, mountain biking, bird watching, shark cage diving and whale watching.
