This en-suite is located on the lower level of a newly renovated Victorian home, with a private side entrance and easy key less system. Natural light brightens this space, which includes full kitchen and laundry. Recently updated colors and new furnishings, including two very comfortable queen beds and a kitchen table with four chairs. The location is outstanding; close to tasty eateries and fun night life but a few streets away from the noise and parking challenges sometimes associated with Capitol Hill. 850sq ft space with radiant heat and full bathroom, which includes a bath tub and shower. Guests have a private side entrance with key less system, private full bathroom, private en-suite kitchen, and private laundry. Great for rental cars: unlike a lot of Seattle and especially Capitol Hill, the street has ample parking that is free and without permit required. Separate thermostat for climate control. I travel quite a deal but also work from home and make time for guests if they would like more interaction. I am relaxed about this but do enjoy meeting new people. There is a key less entry system that makes it easy to coordinate arrival and departure. I love Seattle and am enthusiastic about offering suggestions for local eateries and experiences to enjoy. The house is on a tree-lined street in the prominent Capitol Hill neighborhood. Volunteer and Interlaken parks are merely blocks away. Feeling peckish? There are many options for great food and drink within a 15-minute walk. Bus drivers are friendly and the #10 & #12 buses depart 1 & 3 blocks away, respectively, for prominent points, like Pike/Pine Corridor (6 minute bus ride) or Pike Place Market (20 minute bus ride). Finally, the #43 also leaves nearby and is a ten minute bus to the University of Washington campus. UberX is alive and well on Capitol Hill, with an average fare to Broadway or Pike/Pine about $5 and $10 to downtown. Of course there are regular cabs, bike-share and driving options. If you will have a car the street in front of the house plenty of parking. I'm happy to offer more clarity if you have questions - please ask prior to booking. In addition to the two queen beds, if you may need more room, there are two additional bedrooms in the main/shared part of the house with a separate Air bnb listing. I can usually make most things work - let me know your needs and I will try to accommodate you.

Bright Basement Apartment w/ Private Patio, Grill

Wake up feeling recharged in this open-plan and cozy apartment ideal for lounging. Experience a private retreat just minutes from the city with a contemporary design interior, a private backyard BBQ area, and an outdoor dining space. There is one queen bed that comfortably fits two, and a couch that’s perfect for a small adult or kid. We also have a pack’n play available for babies, and an air mattress for a third guest. We have a three year old so there’s a good chance you will hear him up upstairs :) Amazingly bright one bedroom one bath basement unit that has been remodeled with a modern design. Over 700 sq ft of living space with 200 sq ft of storage and laundry area. The unit is the bottom floor of our home and has its own entrance and washer dryer, no sharing or quarters required! High ceilings for a daylight basement, if you are under 6'9" you are good to go. Huge windows that face the south and east. You can actually see a small section of the cascades range from the living room window. New, functional kitchen space has been totally redesigned. Bathroom has also been completely redone. Modern tiled shower/bath with a european style shower rod. Comes with your own outdoor space, gas grill, table and chairs. Street parking is always available, no zones to deal with. The address scores a walkability rating of 88 'Very Walkable" on Walkscore, with bus routes 2, 8, 48 and 84 less than .2 miles away. This is a gem of an apartment, blocks from capitol hill yet nice and quiet. Our cats love visiting if you're into that. Lots more photos. Guests will have access to the bottom floor of our home as well as the laundry room and designated area outside (grilling and patio area) If you need anything at all, shoot us a text and we will address the issue ASAP. The house sits on a quiet street, right on the edge of the all action. Find coffee shops, bars, and restaurants within blocks. Capitol Hill is also just a quick 15-minute walk away from the property. You can always find a parking spot right out front. There are no parking restrictions on our street. Uber is also very convenient in our area, with pick up times often less than two minutes. This building is special. Situated atop an art studio dedicated to large scale works of art, the residences support the mission of Mad Art. Polished concrete floors throughout, walnut cabinetry and built-ins, blackened steel wall accents, exposed steel structure, natural fir ceiling and exquisite bath and kitchen fixtures express a wholly Northwest material palette. WiFi throughout serving WaveG 1GB internet speeds and 4k TV with Amazon Fire TV. You have the run of the place! There are plenty of open closets free for you to use. I always unpack completely when traveling and I encourage you to do so! South Lake Union (SLU) is the center of Seattle's tech and biotech industries during the day. Have a relaxed evening at a great boutique restaurant or bar. It's walkable in every direction to Seattle's great destinations including the Space Needle. The SLU Seattle Streetcar (inbound) stops directly in front of the building. Hop on and get connected to Link Light Rail all the way to the airport or catch a bus to Capitol Hill, Ballard or Queen Anne. South Lake Union is a hotbed of construction activity and although there is nothing currently happening next to the building, the area is alive with workers during the day. Evenings are quiet and relaxing.
