This place was absolutely beautiful. The ladies that came and cooked for us were amazing. Food was amazing and so worth hiring them to cook for us. There really isnt anywhere to get food from around the area. Josue went and purchased the groceries for us and made sure that we had everything we needed. I cant wait to book this place again.

Absolutely amazing property! The walk from the gate to the house was a beautiful surprise. The third floors had AMAZING views of the lake and mountains. Waking up to the sounds of the birds was a dream. PJ was very understanding to our situation and offered a playpen for the babies. The stay was wonderful. Thank you so much!

Vanessa's place is just like heaven, beautiful surroundings and she kept with new improvements all the time. The quality service that Rudy provides ( the house keeper) is awesome, he is always attentive to our needs and is very polite. We have booked Vanessa's house 3 times now, and are always happy to come back every Spring break.

We loved our stay! The hosts are very communicative and helpful. Check in instructions were clear and communicated well beforehand, and if any issues came up they were sorted immediately (we ran out of gas for the stove at one point, and it was fixed and replaced within 15 minutes!). The gardener was super nice and checked in on us regularly. The views are incredible and the house is comfortable. The wifi was strong and consistent for remote work. Definitely bring things from the supermarket prior to arrival so you don't have to boat back and forth. It's an eco house, so yes there are bugs, but nothing scary or that really impacted our experience. It's a really great spot if you're looking to escape!

Excelente casa frente a la laguna de Apoyo, una vista impresionante. El lugar es tranquilo para disfrutar en familia o con amistades. La casa tiene todo el equipamiento necesario para las amenidades disponibles. El personal que nos atendió durante la visita siempre fue de gran ayuda y bien amables.

Casa Maravillosa. La vista es increíble, las amenidades excelentes y muchas comodidades. Christopher ha sido el mejor Host que me ha tocado, muy atento, las instrucciones son claras y tiene un buen contacto con personas del lugar para poder explorar toda la zona de Atitlán. Sin duda, regresaré.

We cannot overestimate how much we ADORED La Casa en la Piedra. Most gorgeous place we have ever stayed. Wonderfully chill and quiet - waking up in the morning with a view over the whole of Lake Atitlan was priceless. Really well equipped, clean and comfortable - Albert was a brilliant host and sent us so much information before our stay and was v responsive when we were there. Thank you thank you thank you for creating this gorgeous slice of paradise ❤️❤️❤️

Stunning views and a quick walk to town! We didn't see better views of Lake Atitlan from any other place. It was a joy to relax in the house and take it all in! When we needed to get into town for groceries and to restaurants, we took a pleasant walk through local roads, always passing by a tuk tuk if we wanted a ride instead.

The place has an amazing view—perfect for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. The check-in instructions were clear and everything went smoothly without any delays. Mi hija y yo quedamos encantadas y agradecidas con Luz, es una persona muy amable, te apoya bastante, siempre fue muy atenta, el lugar está cerca de restaurantes, centro, playas, fácilmente para caminar sobre sus calles y playa que están prácticamente a 10-15 min. también cerca de los water taxi que te llevan a Caye coulker que es hermoso, definitivamente y sin duda regresaría a hospedarme de nuevo con ella. gracias Luz por tus atenciones

This place was absolutely stunning and honestly prettier than the pictures. Great location and walkable to everything. Beds were a little uncomfortable but no big deal. Good communication with host. Water pressure sucks. I would still stay here again, the view makes it all worth it and they were great hosts overall!

Amazing condo, had everything we needed, great communication with hosts, they even left a crib ready for our toddler. Hope to be back one day, thank you for everything!

El departamento es muy lindo, tal como se muestra en las fotos. Además súper bien distribuido, amplio, con las camas y muebles de la sala y comedor muy cómodos . La cocina está perfectamente equipada con todos los utensilios en excelentes condiciones, además que cuenta con café e insumos suficientes para nuestra estancia. Tuvimos un detalle menor pero los anfitriones muy amables siempre estuvieron pendientes, respondiendo de inmediato para apoyarnos. También se encuentra excelentemente ubicado casi al lado de la piscina y el restaurante, tiene una vista espectacular al mar. Nos encantó la pasamos de lo más lindo! lo recomendamos ampliamente sin duda regresaremos pronto !

Wow! This is an incredible place, we were very fortunate to stay for a few days. The pictures don’t do it justice, you’ll feel like you’re in an issue of Architectural Digest. The hosts provide an exceptional guidebook that lays out everything you need to have a tremendous stay, and they are very attentive if you need anything. We hope to make it out and stay again some time!

We had an amazing experience at this property! The gardens are absolutely stunning, and the yacht club is both beautiful and inviting. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating. Absolutely loved the kayak. However, we did encounter a few challenges. Access to the area can be a bit difficult, so we recommend arriving by 4x4 vehicle, boat, or tuk tuk. Additionally, it would have been helpful to know in advance that the "parking by premises" is located in a separate lot, not directly at the house. Unfortunately, we found ourselves stuck in the grass for a few days and were unable to move our vehicle. Thankfully, the gardener was kind enough to assist us in getting our van out. While the home itself is charming, it is slightly older compared to others in the area. The cabin could benefit from some updates, and we would caution families with young children, as there are no safety rails around the property. Overall, it’s a lovely place, but there are a few areas for improvement.

Macaw Villa was a beautiful home that was impeccably clean from top to bottom (I wish I could get my home that clean). The surrounding yard and pool were beautiful and we'll maintained with plenty of birds and lizards to view. We all felt very safe staying on the property. The owner was very responsive when we wrote him with questions during our stay. It was close to a few sodas for food. We enjoyed El Rincon del Chef as a nearby option. Our kids ages 9 and 11 loved the place as well and made it clear they thought I should make it a 5 star review. They wanted to stay longer.

Vista Turquesa is an absolute gem! I only wish I had spent another day there. The lake is breathtaking, and if you’re a swimmer, I highly recommend taking a dip. Thelma is an absolute star who makes your stay incredibly pleasant. She’s well-connected in the area and can make any recommendations you may need.

Stayed a full month. What an experience! Loved it! Being the Amazing host he is, Kees picked us from LIR for a nominal fee. A service my family cant thank him enough for. Cabin was spotless thanks to Griselda, it had everything we needed including a fully functional kitchen which was so very important for our autistic daughter. For 2 weeks we were without a rental car, but the location had multiple shops in 5 min walkable distance, the walks were memorable, made so many friends even though we didnt speak Spanish. The locals made us feel home. The view was heavenly, with lake Arenal right in front and the wind-soul touching and even the majestic Arenal Volcano, we felt blessed! The swimming pool was the cherry, Kees takes a lot of pain to keep it very clean, with so many trees around, we were surprised to find it in sparkling condition always. Kees, Griselda, Victoria and especially Cookie lille doggie our local guide will always be unforgettable! We will definitely b back

Our stay was absolutely incredible!!! It’s not the easiest place to get to, but that’s the point! Suli’s instructions helped us to arrive seamlessly and all of her recommendations were great. Galileo was so helpful and even took us for a beautiful hike! I can’t recommend this place enough- it was magical!!!

La cabaña es un lugar super relajado cerca de la ciudad, el clima estaba excelente. Sumamente completa, no faltaba nada para la estancia. Efraín es un super host estuvo pendiente de todo con instrucciones para visitar las amenidades naturales de la zona muy atento. En definitiva super recomendado.

Marcos was beyond helpful during our stay at his beautiful lake house! He greeted us personally when we arrived and was quick to respond to our questions. He provided a guide with local restaurants and activities which made exploring easier. The home was spotless, welcoming, and such a restful place to relax. We hope to be back to visit in the future, and would highly recommend Marcos’ home as a place to stay!
