The Escape Pod|No Neighbours|Pet Friendly|Drive to

This cabin site is tucked into the forest at the base of the Deacon Escarpment with a view of the Bonnechere Valley Hills. It is a 10 min hike to the Escarpment Lookout, and roughly a 25 min hike to your canoe on a small lake. There is a picnic table, firepit, outdoor gazebo bar, seasonal outdoor shower and private outhouse. The cabin comes with a map of 30km of trails for you to hike or snowshoe. No neighbours within 500m in any direction. Possibility of occasional guest cars going past.

It’s a fantastic place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the Ottawa River! located an hour and a half from Ottawa, and 10 minutes from Pembroke.

Relax and enjoy our spacious, new build, two bedroom lower level private suite in one of Petawawas newest subdivisions. Private entrance and close to all amenities, including CFB Petawawa, CNL, restaurants, pharmacies, grocery store and parks. 1 King, 1 Queen size bed, along with a full size kitchen, stone counters and stainless steel appliances. The Guest House

Our guest house is a cozy log cabin with three floors. It is the original homesteader cabin to our property, revived and restored with care. Nestled in the Bonnechere region of Renfrew County, this magical place of solitude offers nature right outside your door. Local paintings by Ottawa Valley landscape artist Angela St. Jean displayed throughout the cabin feature lakes, rivers, and natural places and spaces that surround us.
