Excellent spot to post up for a cozy winter get away! Great bird watching and awesome spot for a nature walk. The hot tub was wonderful. Will be going back next winter!

We snuck away for the weekend to relax and unwind. It rained while we were there but that was great for what we needed. Cool mornings and evenings in the hot tub taking in the scenery. It was exactly what we needed. Mitch was responsive to questions and we truly needed nothing once we got in.

Wonderful place! Right by the river. I loved it! Great communication from the guest as well.

We had the best weekend staying at the cabin for our trip down the illinois River. This cabin was so comfortable and mire than we ever anticipated. We will be staying here again.

This cabin was just what we were looking for. It was secluded, quiet, roomy and homey, and so much more. Kim was a great host with constant communication, local recommendations, and a very clean home. She was so friendly and funny, if we didn't live in Nebraska, I swear we'd be good friends! The decor in the home was cute and it was clutter- and dust-free. We did need to get a couple cookies sheets and plastic utensils for our group but that really wasn't a big deal as we were cooking for a large group one of the nights we were there; it's more a heads up for potential future users. It was a quick drive to get into town and everywhere else we wanted to go so that was nice too. Overall, I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone visiting in the area.

great place, perfect for our family, host and co-host were great always getting right back to my messages. we extended our stay, it went through smoothly. We plan to book it again next time we are in the area.

There are plenty of sleek, modern cabins with that brand new smell to be had these days... but there's nothing quite like staying in a cabin, a decade shy of a century old. The whole cabin was a comforting visit to yester-year. squeaking floorboards, original, latch windows. Every detail was covered, from coffee bar, comfy beds to "not cheap" toilet paper . we could go on and on, but the view is spectacular. We even had a bald eagle land eye level with us, looking out the back down to the river. Although the river is quite easy to get to, if you like a short hike, it's not super kid friendly in the water, but the kids managed to spend a lot of time down there anyway. I grew up loving the illinois river, and this place you should check out!

We loved the cabin! Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy it. Cozy, clean and had everything we needed. Close to lake Tenkiller and this was perfect for us since we were fishing a tournament. Janell was so helpful and answered quickly and checked on us. Would recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.

It’s a beautiful escape to nothing but nature and relaxation

Nita’s cabin in the woods was an exceptional place to spend a week with family, spacious rooms all nicely appointed. It was so peaceful and quiet set back from the road. We enjoyed the wildlife, deer, birds and even wild turkey. Nita is an outstanding host! She contacted us a number of times to ensure we could find the location and provided the access information in advance of our arrival so there was no guessing about how to get in. She gave us a number of helpful tips about what to do and see. She even checked in with us the day there were strong winds to make sure we were ok. You can tell she cares about her home and her guests. She made our time at the cabin special! We would love to come back again someday.

We loved, loved, loved our stay! The area is beautiful! The yard-perfect! The PORCH- amazing, even when raining! The BBQ Pit-perfect! The beds-not bad. Had everything you need! A little ways from restaurants, and the town of Tahlequah BUT the drive there and back is nice. Ms. Julie was very responsive. We would stay here again if ever in the area.

A wonderful little cabin as advertised. Greatly enjoyed the guided walk to the creek and made new friends from the house next door. A very peaceful space worth the investment. I extended my stay-- twice!

very beautiful place and location. the drive down to the house is very rough and steep but doable. it is a steep hike down a hill and over large rocks to get to the water though. wear water shoes for sure. overall our family enjoyed our stay. the house is well kept and full of many amenities that helped our stay. also no wifi, but was nice to unplug for awhile. great fishing spots.

This place has plenty of room for everyone. The grandkids loved the dock. They enjoyed the floating mat, the kayaks and watching the fish at night. The sunsets from the dock are beautiful. We all enjoyed ourselves.

Gwen was awesome! We had a surprise birthday party and brought all the stuff we needed. It was a great place to stay, had more than enough places to sleep. Even though it was cold when we went, we still loved the creek and all the outside activities! I would highly recommend!!

Buffalo Cabin is an amazing little house with a stunning view. The hosts are so responsive and considerate--everything needed was there and in good shape, and all questions and details were immediately taken care of. This is an exceptional Airbnb!

Larry responded to questions even called right away when we had a question. The home was very nice and clean. Would recommend.
