Loup of Fintry, The loch lomand National Park and the Trossachs are all a short drive away.The village has a pub and a hotel both serving meals Its a great place to be based as there are plenty country walks , Mugdock country park. The house holds a good central position close to airports; Glasgow airport is 30 minutes away and Edinburgh airport is 40 minutes drive and is a good base for a variety of day trips in and around the city. Twechar is situated on the Forth and Clyde canal which is used for cycling, walking and kayaking. There are many walks in and around Twechar itself for instance the Roman Fort and easy access to the Trossachs.

The cosy and comfortable garden house is located in the beautiful farmhouse garden, surrounded by trees and sits next to a lovely glen. It is in a very handy central location for all visitor attractions and scenic areas near Glasgow, Stirling, Falkirk and Edinburgh, as well as nearby towns of Kirkintilloch and Cumbernauld. Near the Forth and Clyde canal and the John Muir Way.

The apartment has one large bedroom with a very comfortable super king size bed and the lounge has a pull down double bed. Travel cot is available on request. The kitchen is fully fitted with washing machine, microwave, coffee machine etc. The shower room/ toilet has a large walk in shower. Superb location less than a 5 minute walk to Milngavie town centre, train station and the start of the West Highland Way. Milngavie has an array of shops, restaurants and bars.
