The place was well appointed and lovely. The surroundings were gorgeous! Had a great long weekend there and took advantage of the hot tub, fireplace and steps down to the river.

Great, quiet location. Enjoyed the garage area with ping pong table. Loads of parking, which seems to not match the listing, but in a good way since there are way more than four parking spots. Very close to I-5 and the casino. It’s an older place, but it was great for our purposes and very much enjoyed our stay. Would return.

It was a lovely stay. Dayna and Sarah have curated a beautiful space, both inside the cabin and in the garden area outside. Very comfortable, with lots of homey touches (we loved the dishware and the French press). The Onsen soaking tub was magical. Overall entirely delightful.

A beautiful loft, with every detail thought-out and crafted. A design-lover’s dream space. We arrived and instantly decided to get nearby take-out food for dinner because the private deck was so nice and we didn’t want to leave! The kitchen was well-equipped, and the bathroom and bedroom linens were cozy. The soaking tub was a nice touch. The restaurant below never bothered us at all. A gem!

David was a great host, and his home is amazing! Very peaceful and close to a lot of great outdoor activities.

Vancouver is a great location! Love the proximity to everything… Kathy has kept the house really clean and it’s very spacious… we had no issues with the 8-member family group. The listing is accurate in terms of what to expect. Kathy is vey responsive and respectful… absolutely no hesitation to recommend this place

We enjoyed our family get together. The house was as described. It has 2 levels: main entrance level has 3 bedrooms (one has en-suite, the other 2 have unconnected hallway bathroom). Lower floor has separate bedroom with attached bathroom and the living/game space. There is a large tv in the basement level and another tv in the main living room. We did not spend time outside or in the hot tub. We did use the grill a few times and it worked great. The kitchen is well stocked and even had an air fryer. They did provide coffee which was very nice. There’s a bar that may or may not have liquor (we paid some forward and left a nice old fashion!) The kitchen is really nice. There is a wall between the dining table and the living room so not fully open but definitely open enough for us. We truly enjoyed our stay and definitely felt “at home”!

The Art House perfectly met our needs. From the cozy fireplace to the comfy beds, we felt right at home on this mother-daughter time away. Leah was very responsive and provided a clear balance of privacy and friendliness -- respecting our time alone but inviting us to stop by to say hello should we choose :) We're looking forward to returning with the rest of the family.

We had to book this place last minute (day of) as our previous accommodations had cancelled on us. Susan was so easy to work with and was very helpful! Couldn’t have asked for a better saving of the day. The house was very clean, and was perfect for our group of gals. We had 1 guest that is severely allergic to dogs and even though this is a pet friendly house, not once did she have any type of reaction which goes to show just how clean the house was. I would absolutely recommend to a friend!

We really enjoyed our stay, and definitely will be saving it for future trips to Portland! Quiet neighborhood, close by to some pretty great places to eat and soms awesome coffee shops. The bed was very comfortable, too. We found ourselves saying we could have stayed inside and just enjoyed the house all day, and would have if we didn't have so much exploring we wanted to do!

The space was very cute and private! They had everything we needed! Love the little private outdoor patio area.

Words cannot describe how nice this place is! My dogs and I were in heaven when we stayed here. Paula's place is massive especially the well cared for backyard. My dogs loved zooming around and exploring as if they were wild animals, it was much needed after many days of driving. The home is impeccable, we felt right at home. I've stayed at many Air BnBs on huge lots but this was the first when the host also does not live on the property so it was also very private. Almost as if you're in the wilderness all by yourself. (There are neighbors but I didn't see anyone else) With how popular Bigfoot seems to be in the area, this feeling of solitude can play tricks on your mind! Lastly I did not need to contact the host during my stay because it seems everything is either provided in the home or you are given very detailed instructions before arrival. We loved our stay and would love to come back if we're in the area again!

Couldn't ask for a better location-- walkable to wonderful restaurants and shops. Our kids loved the outdoor space with a cute playhouse, games, and hula hoops! Thoughtful touches around the property and our family enjoyed our stay!

Spent a wonderful time at the Carter House! Large, cozy suite in a beautiful neighborhood that is walkable to all the downtown Vancouver spots. My only caveat would be the WIFI/Internet in the suite is very hit or miss, so would not recommend if you are planning on heavy internet usage, but otherwise a great experience!

Clean and comfortable. Great proximity to all of Mississippi ave. Homey with plenty of space and lovely bathrooms. Just what we needed for a long weekend away.

Great location! Everything was easy with check in and check out. Aimee was a good host, straight forward instructions and easy to get ahold of. The basement apartment was very clean and cozy. Has all that you need. We will definitely come back! Thanks Aimee!

The apartment was the ground floor of their home. It was very nicely arranged with a living space, sleeping quarters and kitchenette. It was attractively decorated with a large, nicely appointed bathroom. The heating system was quick and quiet. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming again.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a month, and it was truly wonderful. An amazing place, a kind and thoughtful host, and—if you’re lucky—some adorable little cat and dog friends you might get to meet. They were never a bother during our stay; honestly, I think I was the one bothering them! It felt like a month out of a movie—such a happy, peaceful time. Thank you so much for all the kindness you showed us.:)

We absolutely loved our stay in this wonderful home. It was so quiet and peaceful and comfortable for our family of 7. Sara reached out with clear, easy to follow instructions that made check in and check out seamless. We can’t wait to stay here again!

We loved staying here for a quick weekend trip to Portland. Plenty of space for four adults. Most importantly, walking distance to some of our favorite Portland restaurants and adorable neighborhoods to explore! Loved the location and it was super easy to check in and out.

Stayed for a night after a concert and everything was great. Nice clean house in a really cool neighborhood. Will definitely stay again when in PDX

This place is both spacious and cozy. The neighborhood is really cute. Walking distance from about of restaurants, bars, and shopping in the Mississippi neighborhood, and only a 5 min walk from Light Rail or a couple of main bus lines. The hosts were quick to respond and very accommodating. The home was very clean, while remaining inviting. It was peaceful and quiet, despite being so near a couple of major through streets. If this place is available any time I visit Portland and need a 2br, this will always be my spot.
