We had the most magical time at the eco cabin, it was absolutely beautiful and Verity went out of her way to make us feel welcome and enjoy our stay. We will absolutely be coming back again - highly recommend!

The facilities were very clean, well lit, and well equipped. The restaurant provided good local quality food. The staff really friendly and hospitable. The setting on a Farm in nature with wildlife and birds to enjoy, and beach walking distance. Perfect holiday place, will be back again...again....

Excellent location. Beautiful little cottage studio outfitted with everything you might need. Check in was very easy and Amanda was very responsive. Would certainly stay here again.

We had an amazing stay at the Orchard hideaway - it is in beautiful, rural and peaceful surroundings, and is exactly like the photos. It is private, warm and very clean, the hot tub is great and well maintained, and the host has thought of everything to make it a comfortable relaxing stay. We would love to come back and 100% recommend!

What can i say, we have just come home from a week at the tibbie shiels caravan and i feel claustrophobic. The view and the area is completely stunning. The caravan is exactly as shown and described (slightly dated, but homely and usable) (i also wouldnt want a bright white sterile place to stay when you have the loch and hills to come back from). Alistair and Eleanor were so friendly and helpful throughout our stay and nothing was too much, even when they were fully booked with campers. The private little garden and gated area are just gorgeous next to the river facing st marys loch. We have stayed on site and travelled around the nearby towns and beauty spots. Weve had an amazing time....bring waterproofs. There were 2 adults, 2 big teenage lads, 2 kids and our dogs....it was a squeeze but we managed!! We will be back and we cant wait for the next adventure around the area! Thank you!

Dainne’s place was one of my best experiences in the Scotland UK. It was my first time staying in a caravan home. Very nice and quiet place. I stayed for one night but wish to stay longer next time. Good price, clean and organized. The host was very responsive. Thank you!

My partner and I stayed over Christmas, and it was magical! The lodge was very easy to find thanks to the detailed instructions, and the carts helped us carry our stuff very easily from the car to the hideaway. The view from the lodge was absolutely stunning, and we only walked for about 20 minutes to the most peaceful beach. The Hideaway was the perfect mix of secluded and local, where it felt very private and like our own little world, but there was still plenty to do around us. The fact it’s extremely eco friendly is a massive plus (and the provided shampoo and conditioner has done wonders for my hair!) I have recommended the place to many friends and family already!

Maggie is an amazing host. We arrived to find groceries already waiting for us and a belated birthday gift for myself. Communication was easy and fast. Kids loved the bonus of the play station and the two ride-on bikes. Easy to catch bus 26 from just outside the park to go into Edinburgh. We loved that the location of the van was close enough to everything of the park but still in a quiet section.

Another excellent stay at sheps hut!! Christopher is a great host..and thanks again for the chocolate bunnies left for us for our Easter stay. Hope to stay again soon!

Amazing place for a quite break. Leigh was in constant communication with any questions that we had and arriving to the little extra touches such as the Prosecco gave it a special touch. Very fast at response ending to messages and queries. Micah's place is so easy to get the bus into Edinburgh We got a late bus back at midnight and it was super easy still. Cabs are cheap too Very private and the housing estate has a lot of birds singing and cherry blossoms in bloom making it look extra nice. The bed is single, but pulls out into a double with lots of pillows. Really comfy! Would definitely recommend and stay again.

De accommodatie van Susie is een heerlijke plek in Morningside. Het is een gezellige,nette plek, van alle gemakken voorzien. Zoals een goed bed, een heerlijke douche, en een eenvoudig keukentje met magnetron, koelkast en wat levensmiddeln zoals muesli, melk koffie, thee, crackertjes,jam. Er stoppen veel bussen op 5 minuten loopafstand. Binnen 20 minuten ben je in het centrum. Maar Morningside zelf is ook de moeite waard. Een hele mooie buurt met veel leuke restaurants en winkels. En een mooie park op loopafstand. Een oase van rust, na een bezoek aan het centrum van Edinburgh. Hoewel Susie tijdens ons verblijf niet thuis was, was ons verblijf goed voorbereid en heeft ze goed gecommuniceerd.

We had a lovely stay at Nicky and Eric’s pod – it was cosy, clean, and nicely furnished with everything you need for a few days in the Scottish countryside. The space was thoughtfully set up, making it easy to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Nicky and Eric were friendly and keen to offer recommendations about things to do in the area, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend for a quiet getaway!

Beautiful cabin with a coffee shop and old railway walk right on your doorstep. Veronica was a fantastic host who was flexible with check-in and showed us around. The grounds are immaculate and great for a dog. No issue for us but worth noting there are some chickens kept on site should you have a reactive dog. Equally great for little ones’ entertainment. Cabin has everything you need and a communal microwave/hob along with a trolley for ease of moving bits from the car. Really it feels like you’re home and away from technology. No wifi (great 5G signal though) and no TV so just bring a tablet if needed. For light sleepers, you can hear trucks but wasn’t any issue for us. 100% recommend and we’ll certainly be back!

Had an amazing 4 days at this little cabin. Heather and Stuart were so helpful and the location is beautiful. Super private and peaceful and I felt really safe even as a solo female traveler. Perfect escape for someone craving a break from city life. The stream will lil you to sleep and can even act as a DIY wine cooler haha. Wanting to visit again at some point!

I don’t think I have the words to describe what a dreamy, creative and rejuvenating space this is. Everything about it was perfect for us and our two dogs - simply stunning . Tucked away you feel so secluded and immersed in nature but are only a very short drive away from the very Cute Dollar. The space is the most wonderful place i have ever stayed in- simply magic and stunning . The forest and grounds surrounding allow you to feel so relaxed and we LOVED the outdoor baths every night , pizza oven, hammock and benches. There are so many wonderful touches , everything is so well labelled and communicated too . We had the best meal from take away in Dollar from Troy Ann’s ( think goat curry , fried chicken , rice and peas .. yum!) fell in love with the slow living , making fires , record player, games and lovely books . Would recommend highly the walk at Dollar Glen and one near a Glen at bridge of Allan! Also what a dreamy host Andrew is , so kind , communicative and relaxed ! Xxx

El enclave era precioso, silencio, solo el mugir de las vacas de fondo, la casita super acogedora, tenía todo lo necesario y decorado con detalle, y todo super limpio y ordenado. Con un supermercado a 15 minutos en coche. Los anfitriones muy amables y atentos. Y qué decir de las vaquitas hairy coo, tan adorables, y las ovejitas, que las puedes ir a ver y hacerles fotitos, yo tengo cientos jaja. Yo, en cuanto pueda, volvería sin duda. ¡Lo recomiendo absolutamente!

I'm not sure where to begin with this review! We stay at a lot of shepherds hut and this place is now up there as one of our favourites. The hut itself had everything you would need, so much wood for the fire, great welcoming gifts and more space than we expected. The hut was squeaky clean, and the bed was comfy. The view was amazing even on some cloudy days, and the fairy lights made it really welcoming. Lots of things to do nearby too, there's a good fish and chips shop around 8 minutes away which we highly recommend. Honestly you won't regret booking, we can't wait to return!

What a little gem this is. Amazing design with the bedroom overlooking beautiful views of the coast. The hosts were so friendly and had thought of everything you could need. Very clean and spacious with a really individual design. Very secluded spot, good location and walking distance to Coldingham. Recommend to any couple!

A great little getaway after exploring the Scottish Borders, loved how dog friendly this place was and had its own private parking. The space itself was immaculate and had a super comfy bed, would recommend for others staying in the area!

What a wonderful studio. Beautiful building and has everything needed for a great holiday. Very easy to find using what three words but very clear directions from Uschi. A wonderful location with lots of local interest - including a Roman fortlet - and easy access to surrounding areas. Would recommend!
