Buffalo Range, a "destination" Airbnb, is a working ranch nine miles south of Monument, Kansas. The surrounding open prairie has never felt a plow; horses and cattle occupy the pastures most of the year; native grasses, wildflowers, cacti, and succulents surround the homestead. We say we are "half way to everywhere in the middle of nowhere" because we're central to an amazing number of historic, geologic, recreational, photographic, and hunting sites. It will take you several days to see it all!

Brent & Jean's Grain Bin Inn (Barn)

This one bedroom Grain Bin converted to a tiny home in the heart of the Midwest, has all of the comforts of home! You have the entire bin to yourself, complete with a kitchenette, full bathroom. You will have to be able to climb stairs to get to the main bed, but there is a futon on the main level. The exterior faces the corral where our cattle and horse may sometimes be, and free range chickens that may roam toward you, especially if they think you have food. We may eventually add more animals!

Pure western Kansas ! Right off highway 24. This home was built in 1900. Vintage reminders throughout this cozy farm style home of a simpler time. A kitchen to please any cook! Feel those summer vibes on the front porch morning and evening. Farm fresh eggs provided in refrigerator! A touch of western lore, located midway between Denver and Kansas City and situated on the Solomon river valley. This modern apartment takes up the entire first floor of a 1905 historic storefront building. Just one block from downtown, restaurants, coffee shops, shopping and grocery store are all within walking distance. The Great Room boasts 14-foot ceilings, fireplace, reclining sofas, billiard table and dining for 6-8. A fully stocked kitchen and laundry round out this luxurious three bedroom, 2 bath apartment. The Cabin

The Cabin is located in the small, rural town of Brewster, just off Interstate 70 between Colby and Goodland. It is furnished with a double bed and futon on the lower level and a twin bed in the loft. The loft is accessible via a pull-down ladder. A mini-fridge, Keurig, and microwave available. No wifi or TV, a playground nearby, three blocks from a small grocery store that serves meals, but the days and times vary with the seasons.
