My colleagues and I choose Tonya"s home to stay in while we working in the area. Tonya is a very kind and thoughtful host. Tonya had an awesome selection of extra necessities that made our stay great.

If you’re looking for a nice private piece of property, then search no more! Very relaxing and close to the highway and amenities. We only stay for one night but clearly we wish we would have booked for the weekend or longer. The Host even supplied us with a few gallons of drinking water. The property is spacious, as well as if you’re a nature lover, you would love sitting on the side porch.

Sandra communicated just the right amount from the very beginning and was very flexible with the reservation , which changed due to work. I needed a place to stay and rest while working in the area. The bed was very comfortable and I slept very well. The back porch was as comfortable as it looks in the pictures and was a great place to read a book and relax. Sandra was very thoughtful with providing coffee and breakfast as well. If my work commitments keep me in the area again, Sandra’s place is the first I will check for availability.

Serene, contemplative, soul enriching! This is the antidote to our go-go society. A stay here will recharge you, the tranquility is in every breath you take. Make her backyard your destination. It was so worth it I sat out in the rain. A stay here is what is best of Airbnb--a real honest person as a host and not a faceless corporation. I was so enriched to spend time talking to Dottie. This area is about rest and peace. A short drive puts you at public beach accesses, or Williams Seafood in Waltsboro. Dottie had lots of reference materials available and valuable recommendations. Her extended neighborhood is totally secluded with no outside traffic. The Quietest place I have ever been. Believe your GPS! Her home is the second property back and so you go down a short well- lighted lane.

Great hosts. Room was quiet and clean and comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom had all the amenities I needed. The view of the sunset over the marsh from the front porch is a nice touch, and if you like hearing/watching the jets practice their flights around the nearby base that is also a bonus! Wish I could have stayed longer and explored the area as it seems nice, but was just in town for a night. Would recommend and do it again!

We were looking for a quiet place to stay for a swim meet nearby. This was great for two families with kids. The play room was perfect and the backyard. Everyone was happy. We were also impressed by how clean everything was! Thank you MK!

Couldn’t have been happier with our stay! Having the golf cart and bikes was a huge plus and made getting to the beach, pool, and pickleball courts very convenient. The house was very clean, we had everything we needed and then some as far as paper towels, toilet paper, etc. the kitchen was very well stocked, the fridge and freezer worked really well, and the sunrises over the marsh were absolutely stunning, and all we had to do to see them was stand in the living room and look out. The hosts were very communicative and left us very clear directions and suggestions of things to do. All of the neighbors we met were super friendly, as well. We had a fantastic weekend and plan on coming back.

The area is beautiful and convenient to Beaufort SC, as well as the beautiful lowland islands. I spent the day at Hunting Island on the beach, which is only about a 25 min drive. It was peaceful and quiet. The bedroom was quiet and comfortable. The host was helpful and kind. I received a great massage from Cindi during my stay. Highly recommended!

This is our second time staying here. We love it, and want to make it an annual mother/daughter trip. The room has everything we need, and the breakfast is always great. Melinda is very responsive if you need help with anything. The location is amazing. Can’t wait to stay again next year.

This is our third stay at Melinda‘s place. It’s a perfect place to stop on our drive north to south or south to north. We have our dog who is always welcome. There are two bedrooms in the suite so plenty of room. A nice change from a chain hotel.
