Open skies without artificial lights nearby make this a spectacular place to star gaze and feel the pure quiet we rarely find anymore. Up high on the side of the Sangre de Cristo mountains we have a view of both the San Luis Valley below and the 14er Mt Challenger before us to the East. Hiking is just outside our doors. A short walk to the nearest Creek is 10min. Town is two miles away with all the amenities you may need food, gas, cafe and restaurant. Either you want to rest or adventure!
