Please note that you may need to use stairs to access your room. This room overlooks Fall River and features Wireless high-speed Internet access, a large flat screen tv, a King bed, full bath, and granite counters. By booking the King Room, you will have easy access to our private hiking trails that lead directly into Rocky Mountain National Park and access to over 4000 ft. of Fall River. Coyote Hill Lodge is a breathtaking property surrounded by national forests with gorgeous views of the San Juan Mountains. The Roosevelt

What a lovely space on one end of the Lodge! You can sit here and look down the valley at such beauty. The Hideaway was named after the Roosevelt Mine, which opened in 1907 after the gold and silver crash, reportedly closing in 1919 due to differences amongst the owners. Although it never operated commercially after that time, veins were pursued until the 1930’s. President Roosevelt actually visited Pitkin and stayed at the local hotel which is still in operation.

Explore an area rich in history and outdoor activities: abundant hiking, fishing, canoeing, and jeep tours in the summer; amazing colors and hunting in the fall; backcountry/xc skiing and sledding in the winter. Play outside all day and curl up inside afterwards with a good book or movie. Pet friendly w/fee. Easy access on maintained roads (snow tires or AWD is recommended for Marble winters, though). Close to trails and lake.

Den Queen

The historic Green Mountain Falls Lodge, built over 110 years ago but fully renovated now sits at the trailhead for the wonderful trails leading to the Falls, Garden of Eden and the lakes on Pikes Peak. The decks on every level allow you to enjoy the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. It feels like you are going back in time to a remote mountain town but with all the modern amenities needed to make your stay complete.
