Lovely house in beautiful, peaceful surroundings. Andrew was super helpful and very quick to respond to any questions. The house was so private and tranquil, really good space to get away from it all. Would highly recommend.

A beautiful spot right on the edge of Lower Lough Erne. Fabulous views from both the living and sleeping quarters. Great kitchen, supremely comfortable super king bed, and a shower that could knock you off your feet. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thanks Richard.

Noreen met us on arrival and made is feel right at home. The cottage was clean and tidy and everything that we needed was provided for. We loved the location, a quiet and natural setting in the midst of the countryside. We would recommend it as a great place to stay.

This house definitely has to be one of the best locations for a property, down a quiet country lane with a private pier onto Lough Ree, it was breathtaking! Judith was so lovely to deal with and quick at responding to messages. They left us clear directions for using all of the items in the house and we had a lovely time. Perfect house to bring doggos and kids. We had our kayaks and SUPS to make use of the lake and were able to watch the sunset from the pier, a perfect weekend. We as a party of 15 all had a fabulous stay. Plenty to do in and around house. No one was bored and there was plenty of laughs had. The place was spotless and had everything needed for an enjoyable stay. Lovely friendly warm greeting with a lovely welcome gift. Nick was great, on hand bringing firewood and setting hot tub up. Go ahead book it....you will not be disappointed 😉

Very clear directions and accurate descriptions. Enjoyed drinking my coffee with the nice view, weather was great and kids loved playing in the water. Would definitely go again

We had a great time in Paddy's very spacious and beautiful house at the lough. We are city dwellers and this was an opportunity for us and the kids (10 and 14) to do something very different. The house is about 3k down a lane which is easy to navigate with a normal car, we had a Duster and that was a plus. From a city dwellers point of view you have to get used to being out in the sticks and everything is a bit of a chore. Shopping, getting around, you are in a pretty remote spot. But that is also the advantage. You are already there. You are in the beauty spot. You can just walk up and down the lane and enjoy the views, the sheep and the mountains. You don't have to go anywhere to see something. It is all around you. Westport is a good place to go to stock up. Paddy was great to communicate with and very pleasant and easy going. If you know your way around fish and loughs and water sports you will get a real kick out of this, we loved it. Great place. Thanks Paddy.

We enjoyed our stay in the spacious and well equipped house that our host Philip arranged for us (due to the power loss cause by a storm in the original house, Philip suggested a Carrick self catering house in Carrick-on-Shannon). Located right in the center, we had a private parking, pubs and restaurants at our doorstep and a view on the beautiful Carrick marina. Philip was very friendly and helped us feel super welcome. All in all, a nice cosy house in a perfect central location.

Right from the second we hit the lane I was in love, beautifully kept grounds and amazing driveway. I didn't have the chance to meet Robyn as she was busy doing clean up after that horrible storm but I had the pleasure of meeting her lovely mummy Dawn. Dawn explained everything to me very clearly including instructions on hot tub, heating and of course about the lovely wee village. I could have chatted to her all night and she even brought 2 gorgeous dogs to greet us which made my stay better. I would totally recommend staying here especially if you love forestry and lakes. Omg the shower is amazing too. You deffo have to use it 😂. The worst part of this trip was having to leave. I absolutely loved it. Everything was just perfect. What a peaceful and beautiful place to stay. We had the best time and if in this area (which is stunning in general) we will be back HERE. There was even coffee, I couldn’t wish for more (as I didn’t know what kind of machine I didn’t buy in advance) and water in the fridge, clear and super friendly communication, lovely hosts, the view!! You can only stay and enjoy this place!

Absolutely love this place. A very cool, quirky apartment. Comfortable and clean. Nice peaceful surrounding. Galway city is around 20 minutes away, nice drive too. I found the host really helpful, clear and simple instructions to check in. Would highly recommend. I'd definitely stay here again! ♡

We loved staying here in this charming cottage in the middle of an Irish farm. Hosts are super friendly and so are their dogs! Marilyn was so kind to drive us into Kilkenny and give us lots of great recommendations. Highly recommend!

Many thanks to Adrian for a lovely stay on Boa Island - accommodation was spacious and pristine and easy to check in and the location is superb with just a short walk down to the lough for either a walk along the edge through the fairy wood towards the jetty and small beach or to have a play in the playground or a barbecue in the better weather. All together a real treat of a place and will definitely be back to book the bigger chalets available with the hot tubs! Also thank you Adrian for the tasty gift of a wheaten loaf - it was delicious!

We’re just home from another fabulous stay at Cosy Cottage, wish we could have stayed for a couple more days! Everything was perfect, except Tuesday’s weather but that’s Donegal! I’m all about immersive travel. We stayed in Mary’s remarkable cottage for 9 nights. Exploring as much of Donegal as we could manage by car and by hiking and coming home was the beautiful end of our days. So many hikes in the Lough Eske area and right there on the land making everyday an easy choice. But, coming back to the cottage was just the best. The architecture, design, comfort (bed!) and the lovely edited art and furnishings. I cooked a number of dinners-all as if I were in my own kitchen (better!). I guess I can’t say enough! Will make every effort to come back next spring! Go raibh maith agat! 💚💚💚 Thank you!

This cosy cottage, just 100 metres from Keel beach and Minaun Cliffs, has a lot of charm. We loved the cosy atmosphere enhanced by the traditional turf fire combined with the practical comfort provided. The location was ideal as a base for exploring Achill Island. We can, for example, recommend the hike up to Minaun that starts literally just on the doorstep. And Deborah was a lovely host. For all your questions, she had quick and helpful answers throughout our stay. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly and hope to return one day.

“A place we keep coming back to” This was our second time staying at this beautiful cottage, and once again it was an absolute delight. We returned for the peace, the breathtaking views, and the serene atmosphere that surrounds the home. Nestled in the heart of Connemara National Park, the location is truly special – with sheep calmly grazing all around, it feels like a world away from everyday life. The cottage itself is cosy and inviting, with a lovely fireplace that makes evenings warm and relaxing. Everything is thoughtfully arranged and full of charm. It truly feels like coming home – but in the heart of the Irish wilderness. We wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking to unwind, recharge, and reconnect with nature. We’ll definitely be back.

Had a lovely stay at Gerry's place. The cottage was very clean, comfortable and warm on our arrival. The location is beautiful, with a lovely view across the lake to the rear of the property, and it was very peaceful and quiet. Gerry greeted us personally, and provided several suggestions for our stay. I wouldn't hesitate to book it again as a great base for future trips to further explore Co. Clare and the wider region.

Myself and the two boys wanted an adventure somewhere away from the hustle of Dublin. This was the perfect place, so peaceful and tranquil. The cottage has so much character and so cosy and clean. The boys loved all the old fashioned decor and ornaments as did I. We loved the garden and jetty was so beautiful. We were only 20 mins from Carraick on Shannon. Lough Key adventure Forrest was great for us with lots to do as a family. We didn’t have enough time do to everything. We will definitely be back. The host were unbelievably helpful with everything. Really quick to respond and went above and beyond to try help get us fishing. 😀 Highly recommend with older kids and just a place to escape. You can have action or chilled time.
