Our cosy hut consists of a comfortable bedroom with an enchanted view of Assaroe Lake: enjoy it on our 3 deckings! The cabin is very close to our house but secluded from it, buried in the woods. The room provides a tranquill escape from frantic life:- there’s Wi-Fi but no television , just a radio. Kitchen facilities are basic but functional. We provide the basis for a continent breakfast. “Teach Tess” is centrally located on the Iniseoghain Peninsula. It’s close to fabulous white sandy beaches, the spectacular Malin Head, Fort Dunree, Mamore Gap with rugged and wild landscapes for hiking. The house looks out at “Sliabh Sneacht”. For the more mystically minded - “Grinian an Aileach” is close by as well as countless standing stones, Celtic crosses etc. Perfect for family getaways, hiking adventures, painting/photography holidays, romantic getaways and spiritual retreats !

The Annex, 25 mins drive from ATU, Letterkenny.

Our accommodation is 3 miles from Ballybofey and a 25 minute drive to ATU, Letterkenny. We would consider long term rental to students for term time only. We offer a Luxury 2 bedroom self catering Apartment. It has a Kitchen with a spacious Dinning Area and a Living Area that has a Double sofa bed. The kitchen has a dish washer, fridge freezer, built in oven and hob and a washing machine. Children welcome. Breakfast cereals, tea and coffee are available in the Self Catering Kitchen.

Situated at the head of a picturesque valley 5 km from the nearest main road. The nearest habited house is 3km away. Views from the cottage are stunning and on a clear night you can count the stars. There is no light pollution. This is where the host and at least two generations before him were born and raised. It is the perfect location if you want to get away from it all and enjoy the peace and quiet. Feedback from current customers all comment on the peace and quiet and the sheep.
