We had a lovely stay for Christmas week. The cottage provided everything we needed to cater for our stay (x6 adults) and the location was perfect. Only 10 minutes from the M4 but we felt we were in the middle of the countryside (wild hares and pheasants spotted across the fields). A fair walk to the nearest pub (about 40 minutes); only 9 minutes drive to Hungerford - handy to collect our Christmas Eve curry. We liked the John O’Gaunt pub there too. We’d recommend this cottage and would stay again

Julian and Penny were the loveliest host we’ve had in a long while. Warm and welcoming. Felt comfortable the moment we stepped in. Their fantastic home is the perfect base to explore The Cotswolds. The included breakfast was “just” cherry on top. Absolutely loved thr stay and our conversations.

We stayed in Angelicas house short period while our house was being renovated. It was welcoming and in an excellent location which allowed us to explore East Oxford.

We had a fantastic time here, the cottage is beautiful and Clemmie wad an excellent host. We loved the homemade bread & eggs. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Danish was very responsive and helpful. Instructions were clear. House was spotless and good location for Oxford. Had a great stay.

We had a really pleasant stay in this family house with lots of character, space and privacy. It seems like a really fun family lives here. It seems that we were the ideal matching guests, being a family of five with children aged 3-8 . This meant that there was a near perfect room and bed for each child, complete with all their favourite books and toys etc. There is plenty of living space inside and a big garden to relax in and for the kids to play. The surrounding village is pretty and quiet and there are a couple of very nice pubs with gardens within walking distance. Overall we recommend highly for a family of 4-5.

I’d give it 6 stars if I could. Francesca has a lovely spot, very well located, clean and spacious. She was a very welcoming host and left thoughtful gifts - all in all I had a fantastic stay here. I’d highly recommend this option and hope to return one day :)

I stayed here between exams for one night and it was just as advertised, very comfortable and had everything I needed and more. Mark covered all the bases, I wouldn't hesitate to stay again!

The place is decent to stay for one night. We left an item at Umu’s place, and the owner immediately told us about it and send it back the next day. We thank them for that. Very responsive and responsible owner. Would recommend to anyone.

Really appreciated my stay here! Billy was very kind and helpful after I had a bit of trouble unlocking the front door (the lock was a little janky!) and patiently walked me through what the problem might be. The space was a good size for me and was walkable to all of the restaurants and shops close by, as well as the main college campus.

Host was very flexible regarding our check in time, as we was unable to provide an exact time of arrival until an hour before. The apartment was nice, clean and lovely and warm on arrival and the location was very peaceful Would have been nice to stay for longer than one night.

We arrived on a cold, damp day in January and The Studio was such a delight because it was warm and cozy! It was perfect for us. Yes, it has stairs but they were fine for us old people. The kitchenette had just the items we needed: #1 was a hot water kettle and #2 was a microwave. The bed was comfortable with a sitting area for watching 100s of TV channels. The Internet was excellent, husband was able to attend his 2 hour ZOOM watercolor art class back in the US without a problem. Bathroom and shower were great and there was always hot water. There is easy parking at The Studio and a short walk to downtown Wantage. We ate at 4-5 cafes, a couple of pubs, and a couple of restaurants all within walking distance and we didn’t hit all of them. We were glad to have shopping a short walk away because driving in the UK is really difficult (at least for us 😉). We enjoyed our week in Wantage!! 😁

A perfect place to stay while visiting our daughter at university. Spotlessly clean, well equipped, and very comfortable. Breakfast and a good coffee machine were an added bonus. We will be back soon!

Gorgeous place, exactly as advertised. We had a lovely stay at Gabi’s and Manfred’s. Breakfast was delicious (apple pancakes!). 100% recommend the cinema experience. Thank you to our wonderful hosts!

It was a great stay. Super clean and cosy bedroom with lovely little touches. Very grateful for the hairdryer. Easy walk into town - would recommend going along the towpath by the river. Really nice hot shower too. Quiet and comfortable stay overall.

We had a brief but lovely stay in the cottage. It was spacious, there were breakfast goodies for us and the bed was really comfortable. There was pretty countryside around and a meal at the Crown pub just down the road was a winner! Very easy communications, would recommend. Thanks Gilly & James!

Easy to find in a beautiful location. Very cosy room perfect for our family of 3. Joan & her Husband were so friendly and they cooked us the most amazing breakfast. Thank you for being lovely hosts, we will hopefully be back 😊

We had a wonderful stay at Jill's lovely annex in the Cotswold near Burford. The accommodation was perfect for our cycle holiday, and Jill's hospitality was warm and welcoming.
