Loved the location and the shepherds hut was perfect! Great for a night or two in an idyllic setting with stunning views, great walk and the perfect perch pub within a few mins walk away. The log fire burner was a bonus providing a warm cosy atmosphere. I loved the sound of the birds singing as well.

If you are looking for someone to escape to with the peace and tranquility of the countrywide with just a sprinkling of natural farm noise - this is the place to be. We had a really relaxing few days here and Rosalind was very helpful and in hand if you need anything. We always had a friendly greeting from the 3 dogs who would be delighted with a belly scratch. Loved it here.

Thank you so much for sharing your little slice of paradise - the view, space, cabin and overall location make this not to be missed. The large fire pit was amazing and thanks for the first night’s wood. The view from the gas bbq was phenomenal. Fantastic pubs and historical sights of Lacock in walking distance, absolute peace and quiet, it’s just a dream holiday for anyone - especially a weary urbanite like me. Perfect for couples to go off-grid and relax. Thanks so much Mark for your helpful comms and all the thought you’ve put in to the place - we can’t wait to come back :)

Perfect for our short stay in Milton Keynes, hut was lovely and was nice to have some tea and biscuit provisions. Easy check in and a beautiful area to be set up at. Hut is right next to the farm house and store. Fortunately we had no noise from either. Overall very pleased, only slight issue was that the bathroom fan wasn't working (or we couldn't work out how to turn it on) so it got very humid in there, some signs of mould but could be related to the fan so I'm sure will get fixed soon.

We had such a lovely, relaxing time during our stay! The space was clean, cozy, and exactly what we needed to unwind. Everything was thoughtfully set up and made us feel right at home. Communication with Jon was easy and smooth from start to finish. We would definitely love to come back and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

Overall, accommodation was great and everything went well. Things that I would like to point out. List of amenities these things are not correct. 1. Carbon monoxide alarm for the fireplace. The bedroom is not operational which is a hazard. 2. Coffee machine was not there. We asked and we were kindly given a jar instant coffee. 3. Outdoor to dining area doesn't exist. there is ourdoor furniture but not a dining area. 4. Outdoor kitchen doesn't exist either. They are correct, there is a BBQ as mentioned on the amenities , but that is not a outdoor kitchen. 5. I understand there is no Wi-Fi available. Which would I was okay with as I have 50GB of data. What I was not aware is that the location is in a virtually a signal dead zone there was one spot that we had to go to , if we wanted to receive our Whats-App messages. I would see this as an important thing to mention to people. Lastly , we had the lovely couple who lived at the corner who were available when we needed to ask questions.

My partner, our dog and I had a wonderful 3 nights at Graham and Pip's Shephard huts. The views were spectacular and exactly what we were expecting from the listing! The bedroom was extremely cosy, especially when we had the log burner going and we were sat reading our books drinking tea. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a delicious loaf of homemade bread, and the bathroom was super clean; the shower was a real warm treat after a day of walking in the rain! There are some lovely walks accessible from the huts, if you don't want to travel too far out. Also, I promise that if you weren't a fan of bird watching (or listening) before, you definitely will be after your stay! Thank you Pip and Graham for providing us with the perfect retreat to nature we both strongly craved to escape the stressful 9-5 working life. We would 100% recommend to anyone wanting to switch off from their phones, and connect a bit more with the nature around us.

We loved our stay at Katie & Anna’s Shepherds hut. The orchard was lovely to sit in during the light evenings & the hut was clean and cosy.

We had a great time at The Sheep Shed. The views surrounding the hut are beautiful, and you can see them all from an extremely comfortable bed. Lots to do exploring Bicester, Oxford and local village pubs! Highly recommend :)

We have the most peaceful stay here! Brilliant communication from the hosts from the start and throughout. The hot tub was by far the best! We practically lived in it. It was lovely to see the beautiful surroundings and piggies! No complaints and hoping to return!

Beautiful hut. Designed, crafted and decorated to a high quality. Lots of privacy, having the oak field all to ourselves...the dogs loved it, as did we. Bob and Lisa were very friendly and hospitable. Highly recommend a stay.

Absolutely lovely stay! Rachel was a brilliant host and would reply to any messages straight away. The location was amazing and private, in a really good location & had gorgeous views. Really comfy bed, has everything you need. Also love the idea of no WiFi !

The hut was stunning, with a private hot tub. The location was great for both walks and drives, with lots of places to eat and farm shops nearby. The hosts communicated well about everything. Alton towers was also extremely close, which was convenient.

The place is absolutely stunning and really peaceful. Alice was very accommodating about everything and we had a great time. The hot tub is amazing and yes it does take time to heat up, but when you’re surrounded by such a beatific scenery you don’t mind waiting whilst you soak it all up. I would highly recommend it!

Perfect stay. Cabin was pristine & picturesque, with really helpful instructions. Would recommend to anyone looking for a rural getaway.

An incredibly relaxing and comfortable weekend stay, whilst we forged pointy things at The Oldfield Forge, highlighted by Mark and Teresa's superb hospitality. The hut and kitchen/bathroom building feature the best facilities with an outstanding attention to detail that serve to show the huge amount of love and thought built into everh nook and cranny. Great views and walks in the amazing natural surroundings too. Thank you both for making our 25th wedding anniversary that extra bit more special. Will definitely stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay. The enclosed garden was great for our dog and the views were amazing. The Hut was equipped with everything you’d need with plenty of towels and always plenty of hot water. The Hot Tub was perfect. Would highly recommend and will definitely book again.

We enjoyed a restful and restorative weekend at the Meadow View Shepherd's Hut. The aspect of the hut is absolutely stunning, looking out over views of the Shropshire hills. The space feels incredibly private and has so many thoughtful touches, including BBQ and firepit equipment. David was really friendly and provided helpful instructions on finding the property as well as local guidance. We'd love to visit again in the near future!

Wow, what a place! 10/10 for everything! The location was amazing, beautiful views and the only neighbours were the cute sheep! A perfect place to escape, switch off and enjoy nature. The hut had everything you needed and was in the best location for walks. Would recommend to anyone! Can’t wait to come back. Catherine was a lovely host and made everything perfect for us. Sue’s place is absolutely stunning, photos do not do it justice! We were so lucky with the weather, but the place is stunning regardless. Super secluded and private, the garden is well enclosed meaning our German Shepard could have a great run around.. The hot tub was fantastic and was a welcome relief from the heat during the day when it was cooler. Super comfy bed…we probably brought a bit too much food in hindsight as we couldn’t fit everything in the fridge, so if you plan to do your own meals maybe bring along a cool box etc. Such an amazing stay, thanks so much Sue.

I stayed here for 3 nights & it was absolute perfection. It was incredibly clean, cozy, peaceful & extremely dog friendly. The location couldn’t have been better for all the hikes I had planned in the peaks. I only wish I could have stayed longer & I absolutely will next time. The host is also very responsive & accommodating. 10/10, highly recommend!

We had the most amazing stay celebrating our little girl’s first birthday at this beautiful shepherd’s hut! Jill was so lovely and welcoming, she greeted us personally and even left a gorgeous hamper for us, which was such a thoughtful surprise. The hut was cozy, peaceful, and perfect for a relaxing break. Our daughter loved every minute of her birthday holiday. One day, we took a scenic drive to Alton Towers—it's not far at all and made for a fun day out. After a day of walking and exploring, the hot tub was the perfect way to relax, and we also enjoyed a delicious dinner at The Old Hall nearby. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to make memories, and we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend! Stacey, Joe & Baby Olive xx

Absolutely blown away by how beautiful the nest was! So clean and comfortable, could not fault it. Lucy and Dan were always on hand and made sure we had everything we needed. Surroundings were amazing and would highly recommend this for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.
