Relax at this charming and unique getaway in Wedowee. Surrounded by trees, you have privacy to enjoy the outdoor sitting areas including a covered porch swing and hammock. While no views of the lake, access is 300 yards away for fishing or kayaking. The treehouse, separated by a walkway to the main house, is perfect for adults wanting a private getaway or older kids wanting to stay up playing provided games. Come back at the end of the day and relax by the fire pit. Room to park boat/trailer.

This is a quiet get-away located on Miller's farm only 20 min. from I-20 between Atlanta & B'ham The sunsets are spectacular. Mt. Cheaha is approximately 15 minutes from the farm. The farm is located approximately 45 minutes from the Talladega Race Track and Anniston (home to the Cheaha Challenge bicycle race),Talladega National Forest 10 minutes, Tallapoosa River and Lake Wedowee, 281 Scenic Byway, Scenic Hwy 49 that leads to US Military Park at Horse Shoe Bend.

Looking for a unique place to stay? We have it. Cap's Caboose is a one of a kind overnight rental. It is in a quite friendly community, and is within a 30 minute drive of the beautiful Cheaha mountains (State Park). Ashland is the nearest town only 6 miles away and has several restaurants including McDonalds, several privately owned cafes and a Piggly Wiggly for groceries. There is a Dollar General in Millerville just 2 miles away.
