This unique space is a timber framed, sod roof, strawbale house nestled along the edge of Upper Cow Creek in the Umpqua National Forest. Inspired by our great, great grandparents’ home on the range, Dad designed and built this from Douglas Fir logs harvested here on site and finished with clay from the back pond. Insulated with strawbales, it is energy efficient; requiring nothing more than a little wood stove for heat and it stays naturally cool during the summer months. https://azalea.farm

Enjoy our original converted barn at Pachamama Farm, offering plenty of space for families/groups to gather while still having room to spread out. This spacious retreat includes four private bedrooms, a Kids’ Loft & Game Room, two full kitchens, two bathrooms, laundry, Wi-Fi, A/C and heat. Enjoy a complimentary continental breakfast and the peaceful surroundings of our working farm. Farm-raised pork, lamb and fresh eggs are available for purchase.
