Great place and beautiful walks around. Log cabin was spotless and really nice to relax in the hot tub after a long walk. staff very friendly and responsive the only downside beeing the bed.... not comfortable and the pillows are really hard. we've asked for a matress topper and the staff was prompt providing it but unfortunately didn't made much difference. 10 out of 10 for the staff and the way the manage the holiday park! 100% recommend visiting Galloway Smokehouse and red deer range

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was lovely and very clean. It had everything we needed for a cosy weekend and perfectly matches the description. We used the hot tub and outdoor seating area every evening! The location is beautiful and is very private and peaceful. We would definitely come back to stay again. A lovely stay in a beautiful part of the country. We couldn’t possibly fault anything from our stay.

Great place to stay. Stayed at Pod 3, amazing view of the river, arrived very late and Catherine had the hot tub and pod all warmed up for our late arrival. Although the pod doesn’t get hot as such, hot water bottles were provided and a big fire pit was readily available. Failing that, a hot shower or a dip in the hot tub . Fantastic two nights away, will definitely be coming back!

Fantastic stay at Barn Owl Lodge. Very peaceful, beautiful views and a wonderful hot tub. The lodge itself was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Would definitely like to stay again 🙂

The most perfect place to runaway to and switch off, very attentive and lovely hosts! Visited many spots recommended to us by the hosts and they was all perfect. We didn’t need to but they made us feel very comfortable to ask for help. Perfect scenery, perfect amenities, even better than the photos.

We had a beautiful holiday here and Rosie and Jim were more than accomodating. The lodge was stunning, comfortable and the views/animals are truly stunning. Rosie is an amazing host who greets you with as much information as you wish when you arive then leaves you alone to your own devices unless you need to contact her. Which is perfect if you are looking to keep private as the lodge itself feels very private. Finally the surrounding areas are just a short drive away and I highly recommended Coulter Fell if you are up for a hike! Thank you Rosie for being an incredible host and for allowing us to stay at your beautiful lodge. It made this week truly magical for me and my family.

Went on a couples trip with 8 people to Julia’s gorgeous place. Was everything and more we could’ve hoped for. The pictures do not do the view justice!!! Very clean and well equipped, was so memorable.

Great lodge situated right at the top of the site, within 2 minutes of a small walk with panoramic views of the valleys. Bedding was super soft & so were the towels, comfy bed, great sleep. Beautiful surroundings to wake up to and sit outdoors with a coffee listening to the birds. Dog friendly! Comfortable sofa! Lots of utensils and plates.

Had a family weekend which was great from start to finish. The lodge was lovely, clean and actually better than described. Beautiful surroundings with lovely pub for food. Swimming pool was great too. Overall amazing experience - thank you, Sarah.

We really enjoyed our stay at Starling’s Rest! Whilst the home is tiny there is everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Amelia was responsive and helpful with local recommendation for us and our dog. We would definitely recommend! Thanks Amelia :)

After reading previous reviews, we came to Herdy Lodge with high expectations and I must say even these were exceeded massively! The location is beautiful, both the farm itself and the surrounding area. The lodge was everything we could want, spacious, modern and spotlessly clean. Hats off to Alison and Andrew, they really were fantastic hosts. From fresh farm eggs and goodies on arrival to bring super accommodating with any and all requests. I cannot rate them highly enough. Thank you for the most wonderful stay we would love to return when the weather is more on our side!

I booked Badgers Rest for my husband and I, my adult family and their partners (6 adults in total). The lodge was very comfortable and fitted us all in without feeling on top of each other. I also wanted my parents to come and Chris helpfully suggested a lodge that would be suitable for the two of them. Being that it was just four lodges away from ours, it was perfect. The lodge is in a fantastic location with hikes straight from your doorstep and a couple of great local pubs with good food nearby. There is also the Haybarn Inn on site for convenience. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Badgers Rest, it was so cosy with the most amazing views to wake up to. I highly recommend it.

Great cabin in beautiful grounds. It had everything we needed, an amazing shower, a great log burner with some logs available, everything we needed in the kitchen, comfortable beds and great outdoor areas to relax in. Hosts were warm, welcoming, very helpful and responsive to needs. Would definitely recommend!

We enjoyed our stay and the Scars view had everything we needed. We would recommend it.

The cabin was beautifully located in the Lakes and perfect to get to many of the lakes including Hellvelyn and Nab Scar. The bed was super comfy and we even had a complementary basket with millionaire shortbread, fudge and kendal mint cake! also super clean and tidy with everything you need in the small kitchen.

Evie's Lodge was an absolute delight, the view from the lounge is second to none, and we loved sitting out on the decking area when the sun was out. Donna's place is a real home from home and is equipped with everything you need! One of the best beds we have had in holiday accommodation and a brilliant, powerful shower. We would definitely recommend Evie's Lodge and we will be back.

We had a wonderful stay at Woodpeckers lodge. It was beautifully furnished, very well equipped and impeccably clean. Perfect for a nights stay. I would highly recommend!

My partner and I stayed here for a weekend and absolutely loved it. Great communication and directions to the property from the hosts. The location was beautiful and very private and the lodge itself was immaculately clean and had every appliance/kitchenware you could need. The hot tub and the fire pit were great additions to the stay. Cant recommend highly enough, we would definitely stay here again!

We had a pleasant stay at this Airbnb. The place was clean and comfortable, and the surrounding area was lovely. We stayed for two nights and appreciated the nearby walking routes, which provided a nice way to explore the area. The experience was smooth, and everything was as expected. A good choice for a quiet getaway

Amazing place to stay, we took 3 of our dogs and our son. Hot tub, amazing children’s play area, trampoline, swings, seesaw, 20+ go carts with track, play obstacle course, climbing frame, slide, basketball hoops and football nets. The pictures on the advert are outdated and don’t show the go cart track. A brilliant field specifically for walking the dogs, not fully secure due to gaps under the gate but great for dogs who will ignore sheep. Lovely pod with everything we could have needed, hot tub lovely and warm, amazing views. Picnic bench and parking space. Lots of towels available, comfy bed and pillows. Complimentary bottle of Prosecco, eggs and biscuits. Very happy with our stay! We went to The bridge end inn for tea, 2 nights in a row!! The food was absolutely fantastic, well priced but quality fresh cooked food. Booking is a must as they were very busy.

Fantastic set up with stunning views. The pods are very cosy and comfortable. In agreement with other reviews. My wife and two daughters loved our two night stay here and were lucky enough to visit with perfect blue skies. Would highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was clean and well-equipped. The location has a beautiful view and was very quiet, yet close to both Innerleithen and Peebles. We would definitely stay again!

Perfect place if you want some peace and quiet while being surrounded by nature. The hut is very cosy and the surroundings just breath taking. I only saw Nicola for brief moment, but she was very welcoming and kind.
